This is so suspicious it warrants a lot of reflection. LTR to FWB is a downgrade to a girl. Women will NEVER voluntarily downgrade any area of their life for any reason. I guaran-fucking-tee you she has ulterior motives and you better figure those out quick and in a hurry if you care enough. I would plate her and fuck other girls anyway.

What is definitely happening: she wants sex, and she doesn't want to be jealous or you to have other serious options.

One or more of the below are also happening:

She wants you back by subterfuge
She wants to keep you around as a backup option
She wants to keep the sex until she finds her next LTR

What you can do: work out what you want. Do that. But don't do this half assed "see who you want but no sex" option. Especially as she is unlikely to honour her half of the agreement. I don't know who broke up with who, but she's playing you. Maybe not deliberately, but she's putting herself in a strong position (she has options) and you in a weak one (you don't). Remember that women are not honour bound to keep their verbal contracts in the same way you are.

I had a friend who's girl basically did this. "We're just fucking nothing more". She eventually thought they were back tigether, a cold day for her when he laid it down that they werent.

Get what you can out of it, but just be careful with your emotions. He got fucked with for awhile before he woke up.

And seriously some of the comments I'm reading here are so paranoid it's fucking pathetic, Jesus guys. Break it off for what? If the girl wants to do this, let her to your benefit.

I am now a year and a half removed from a LTR. 5 years from the age of 17-23. Bestfriends with ex since I was the age of 14. Our relationship was 5 years of crazy love, sex, loyalty, abusive, hate, obsessed with each other. It was a roller coaster relationship. I was pretty much her first for every sexual act one could do.

After I graduated college, 6-7 months after, I barely had a job barely had money barely had anything, because you know college student at 21 looking for a job. The fuck do I have? I hit serious depression within the those 7 months, I saw the writing on the wall and felt hopeless. Next thing you know she left me. Destroyed me.

She still wanted to be in my life and all that bullshit. So me being the hopeless sucker that I was, I gave into it. She went out and did whatever the fuck she wanted to do, drank, talked to whoever experiencing whatever like the little slut I always wished she wouldn't be. I caught on and would call her out on the bullshit and she'd deny it all even though evidence was clear as fucking day. Shit hurt me big time.

Now, I'm here, not where I want to be but heading back to the man I should have grown into/use to be. I'd like to eventually spin her but I haven't spoken to her since last May when yea...

Moral of the story... spin her as a plate if you're ready to deal with the extra bullshit. You need to emotionally remove yourself from this girl and just fuck her like the sloot she's gonna be and the sloot you want to keep fucking. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT, trust a single word she says, if you could shrug it off and not get attached then by all means do ahead.

My advice, get a couple plates or just fuck a couple other bodies before plating her. Its never bad to have a bottom bitch.

Its a trap. Shes likely using this situation to test the water with other guys. If none of her other leads work out, shell come back to you saying " all I needed was a little time to realize how important you were" etc. I would either fuck her, as well as other girls or just break with her completely.

Cut all ties and let the oneitis withdrawals run its course sooner rather than later. I broke up with a 4 year LTR and she convinced me to do fwb. All it did was make me complacent and instead of improving myself I was passing time until she found someone else. This put me 4 months behind when I made the decision to end the 'relationship'. Once she finds the opportunity to swing branches she will, and unless you are experienced with obtaining plates, younger women can find someone new faster than men can.

You are being reverse monkey-branched here. Look cut the crap. You had emotional connections to a girl who for some reason or another you are trying to eliminate. The physical intimacy can respark emotional intimacy while you are getting your gorilla on. You don't need the constant torment of trying to deal with evershifting boundaries. She wants the physical connection after a breakup... guess what homey, AWALT. And the rules that she's trying to apply to the proposed scenario just make it harder for you to continue forward with your life, whether you plan to respect them or not since you will have to hide your actions and cover your tracks to make sure she doesn't find out what your doing (aka twice as much work for the same nookie you could get without the FWB). When you are breaking up the best thing a man can do is look forward and nothing else. Especially, do not get into sexual competition with her, she will win every time and you will wreck your ego over something you shouldn't even be worried about in the first place. Easy nookie isn't worth letting the emotional-meat hooks stay in place.
