Cracked.com was once great. Now articles by JF Sergant, Adam Todd Brown and the new crew are pretty much this kind of SJW blue pill tripe. Their podcast is great though.

Years ago I used to read Cracked not just for the humor but for the information. No matter how lax, the guidelines they had for making your articles at least half-assedly researched meant you could give some of it credence and links to the source let you read for yourself.

Slowly I noticed their articles slipping in quality. What was once a series of stories about the "badass Rambos of war you've never even heard of" became the "official" Zoe Quinn side of the Quinnspiracy.

Not only was I tired of hearing about the entire damned thing at that point, regardless of who was right and wrong, the fact they "scored the exclusive" from her as a means to drum up on that whole "it's popular on the internet right now!" traffic just highlighted something I had known for awhile: Cracked had jumped the shark. It had been going downhill for me personally for awhile, but that just brought it all into sharp contrast.

A couple years ago I was thinking about writing for them to "break into" comedy and writing online. Today, I haven't been to the site in half a year and you couldn't pay me to go back.

Let's be real for a second. Our ancestors did not live in our society today - they did what they could to survive and propagate and that's about it. These beta behaviors allowed our predecessors to do just that. Maybe calling it "badass" is a bit of a stretch, but who knows - maybe it was back then.
