You don't need to stay there. You are depressed because you feel powerless. The reason you feel that way is because you believe that things are out of your control and this isn't true. You just need to look at other options. Germany may be your home but your fellow germans are kind of fucking the place up. They are doing it because of guilt and shaming tactics.

So you can choose to fight but your countrymen aren't going to help you. If I were you, I'd leave and find somewhere else to claim as a home.

Get a grant or something to study outside the country and go study in a foreign and far away place. Google for places that are least populated by immigrants and get in there. As you study start "rooting" yourself in: make friends, get a girlfriend, get a part time job, etc. This is your new home. (at least for now)

So with the migrant thing... I feel you might come to a similar solution. Focus on yourself.

Also, your sense of home is pure fantasy. The fact is that whatever you consider home is constantly in flux. Home isn't destroyed, home just gets shittier or better over time.

Hey Guy from Switzerland here and I know how you feel.

The problem is, people (including political leaders) these days don't get how people work. All through history a minority has ruled over the masses. There was always a king, a religion, a policy, a group, a holy war, a country or whatever to fight for.

Always, without a single exception people form Groups. And in these groups a few powerful people control (or use / exploit) the many poor/powerless people, often through religion (like islam today) or a policy/system (like freedom/democracy)

70 Years ago freedom and democracy won the battle and the western world (europe and amercia) sailed to the top. While we rose to the top, globalization and private economies/companies as well as state controlled companies exploited the land and people of the "less developed" countries.

The level of richness and luxury in europe and america would not be possible without the exploitation and almost slavework of about 2 Billion, chinese, indian and african workers. Cellphones, lots of food Food, Cars, everything is manufactured by "almost slave-workers". Probably every Mine on the planet is worked by an "almost slave worker".

The problem these days is that "the political west" is chasing the goal of global peace and cooperation (or at least they claim to do so).

And this "global peace and cooperation" will never happen. It is in the core of human nature to be stronger, better and richer. Men have to get strong. TRP knows Hypergamy of women is real. Women will fuck the strong Men. So naturally Men have to compete with each other. (Hypergamy s is only one reason)

And it is not wrong to fight for what you think is important. You are a healthy specimen of the human race! You have every right given by nature to fight and live for your goals. As has every other human on the planet.

This seems to be forgotten in politics theses days.

Every Iraqi or Afghan or Syrian man who has endured pain and lost family has the right to fight. Same as we. This also counts for all the exploited people on the planet. If you bomb away my sister, no matter the political talk of the "few", I will try to kill you. In that way, I understand terrorists and immigrants. I still dont want them here...

The "West" has pissed on the rest of the world for so long i'm not surprised in the least that there is a lot of hate.

However, we the normal living people in the west had no direct part in it. So we cannot be blamed. Even our Company CEO's who in the name of the company exploited people; if he wouldn't have done it, someone else would have.

The "Elite" in African countries exploit their own people even more! They trade with us and china and our "evil" companies.

In reality it is one complex game of Power of like 1% of the population. The other 99% are the passive population. We in europe were lucky because we are in a comparably good place.

The problem now is, if we (our politics) do not keep fighting and exploiting, if we do not keep winning, someone else will.

My personal plan for the future is to observe the situation and aquire enough resources, skill and money to pack up my shit, take my loved ones and travel to the winning group/country if needed (like the smart jew's who fled to america). Maybe Germany/Switzerland/Europe keep winning, if not, I am out. (guess i'm a refugee then :) you should get out before that of course)

Freedom and Democracy is probably still the best cause to fight for today, but it only works if we realize soon enough that we must fight.

How you want to react to the situation is your call. You alone decide. I would try to find your own mission and not fight for someone else...

There is a war for gas pipelines being fought in Syria. We might fuck it up like Iran, but if you look on a map, Syria stands in the way of a natural gas pipeline between Saudi Arabia and Europe.

Right now, you are dependent on Russia for your natural gas. Meanwhile, the Saudis are burning off all the gas you need.

So the war in Syria is being fought against a government friendly to Russia who will never allow such a pipeline.

If the refugees build up in Syria, the war will be lost, as the pressure to end it quickly will be too great.

So this is being done to assure your prosperity. It may be a colossal mistake, but if they pull it off, you'll be set.

Do what people who have felt disconnected or discounted in their own countries have done for forever: migrate.

Germany itself - although the German people have been around for much longer - has only existed as a nation for a few centuries. That's what happens in the world: nations are born, and nations can die. They can be crushed by warfare, collapse under their own weight, or simply become unrecognizably different from some other type of cultural change (if you don't believe me, look at Iran before the islamic revolution).

Maybe Germany will come to it's senses, and maybe it won't, but if you want this humble American's opinion, only a fool decides to go down with the ship, over antiquated concepts like patriotism or nationalism.

I've already got plans to get out of the US within a decade; maybe I won't need to use them, but maybe I will. If I need them, they're there.

I would start working on your plan B, if I were you. Nobody ever lamented in regret, "I wish I hadn't been so prepared!"

If you're worried about politics it's probably because you don't have enough friends in real life. In reality, modern life is awesome and only getting better. Major powers don't fight anymore, and tech will keep on getting better, probably forever.

Stop watching the news. The purpose of news is to break your frame so you keep watching and then buy shit you don't need. Only read things that are at least 5 years old. And make more friends.
