Background: 22 years old, college student (CompSci and EE), fairly naturally inclined to TRP. Swallowing it came much easier after I successfully predicted my last girlfriend breaking up with me a handful of months ago. I've got a face like Jesus, body could use some work (currently working down to 10-12% BF from 27%). Most of my energy is spent on improving my body and my academics, so my game is weak. In short, decent but not the excellent SMV that I'm capable of.

I have a female fluff friend and potential plate in several of my classes this semester and last. I've been cocky-funny around her, NOT made myself emotionally vulnerable or dependent, all the basics. We go to the gym together 3 times a week. Yesterday, she skipped. The following conversation was had over text. Her words are paraphrased, mine are exact.

Me: "Did you skip the gym today?"

Her: "Yeah, doing "

M: "You fucking faggot." (This is pretty common for our social circle)

H: "Dude, fuck off."

Here's where things get interesting. Previously I may have gone with something like, "Woah, what's wrong, want to talk about it?" (Spoiler alert: I don't give a fuck, I just wanted to get laid and wrongly believed that would do the trick.) But, being a bit wiser I decide to opt for something different:

Me: "Damn, so salty you could melt ice!"

Her: "I'm in a shitty mood today."

M: "Clearly. It ain't my fault, don't get snappy at me for it."

H: "You're not really helping the situation are you?"

M: "You got mad at me because I gave you a little shit because I like going to the gym with you. So no, really, and I don't care."

H: "I'm not mad at you, why does everyone get butthurt "

M: "You missed the part where I'm not butthurt. But you're mad and you got snappy at me for saying something I say to you LITERALLY every day, so you ackin' crazy."

H: "Yeahhhh. Guess you're right. My bad."

Uhhhhhhh, holy shit. That worked. I don't know if this a traditional shit test (since we're not currently fucking, etc.), but this interaction went a COMPLETELY different way than I've experienced before, and it was because I:

  • Didn't bend over because a woman was angry at me
  • Didn't waste my time trying to appease her
  • Treated her aggression like a bratty child's, i.e., assigned no power to it.

Etc, etc. This is the first time since I've learned what a shit test is that I've encountered one in the wild. While, regrettably, this only took place over text (and texting is weird), it went damn well.
