If SMV as it is understood is REALLY how things are, why isn't it so uncommon to see men who LOOK or ARE over 30 dating/married to/LTR with High SMV females?

You're looking in the wrong place.

Among my peers (all men, 40-50), none of us is dating a woman over 32 or so. Most are dating women in their 20s.

Chances are you only see low value men because you might be hanging out with low value men.

I just got back from the Caribbean where I'm moving in winter and most of the hottest women are with men 10-15 years older than them. If they're not with a guy, they're with packs of other women all on the prowl.

Sure lots of young hot women date young good looking dudes but for how long?

My LTR's coworker saw her on Christmas day "driving around with her dad." She told the coworker her dad died a few years ago.

35 year old in a (mostly)* LTR with a 22 yo HB9 checking in. We are definitely out here. I am a bit of an anomaly in that I have never married, have no kids, yadda yadda, so I am freely available to fuck/date the young ladies, and so I do. I think as the generation below me (you kids in your 20s) start to reach my age, we'll probably see a lot more of this, as I hope men are learning not to get tied down early.

I started dating younger girls in my late 20s. I haven't stopped. There have been a few close to my age, but for the most part, my partners have been 8+ years younger than me since I was 28. I am looking forward to finally fucking a girl half my age once I turn 36 and can legally unlock this achievement. With some luck and hard work, I might even be able to do this with the LTR, as she wants to bring women into the bedroom.

Aside from the obvious perks of dating women in their early 20s, women in their mid to late 20s go through this crazy chick phase that I want nothing to do with (so many friends have been in LTRs where the chick ends things in profound fashion around 26/27. So many times have I seen this that it is a topic I have considered exploring and writing on in more depth). Obviously after that they're approaching/hitting the wall.

The current LTR is such high SMV that I hope to keep her around, but we'll see what happens once she approaches 26. It would be totally typical and expected for her to run off. If that happens, I will find another 21 year old (I do prefer they be old enough to consume alcohol legally).

My 30s have by far been my best years. I was already attractive, but my status has propelled my SMV pretty darn high, to the point I barely have to work at it with women my own age. The younger ones provide a bit more of a challenge, especially since some of them aren't into or can't overcome the social stigma of being with an older guy.

Your 30s will be the decade where you leave your mark on the world. Do not squander them on marriage and children. Men your age will likely be living well into their 80s with advancements in science and medicine, and 60 is already the new 40, so there is truly no hurry.

*I have side chicks. She's somewhat aware (doesn't want details), and they don't ask questions.

edit: In contrast to most of the other comments here, I and my other friends who date young are not discreet at all. The LTR looks even younger than her age. It is hilarious to go lingerie/panty shopping with her. Man, women hate us. On the rare occasion when we are mistaken for father and daughter, it is a mix of hilarious and awkward boner.

You have a misunderstanding of theory and reality in relation to SMV.

In theory: male SMV rises in the early 30's. In theory this is because attractive male qualities, which include status, wealth, social value etc all tend to rise (in theory) in the 30's. Men also tend to age more slowly than women and a man who has taken care of himself will have not physically aged very much.

In reality: Most men in their 30's are either married or are still betas. The 80:20 rule still applies, but in this case there are less men in their 30's that are still in the dating pool. In addition to this there is a social stigma for women in western countries dating men much older than them. It doesn't mean that women are not attracted to these men, it just means that many will choose to not "date" them but will be quite content with fucking in secret. There are many men in their 30's fucking young girls. I am one of them.

You'll very rarely see me out with my 20-25 year old plates. Maybe on vacation. I don't do typical activities with them (going to brunch, running errands, whatever).

Most of my guy friends are single alphas and we all hang out together (so I don't see what you see), or they are more blue pill, and are married or have LTRs (all with women you're describing - i.e probably hotter than them, but they are successful men who are down to commit).

When was the last time you introduced your group of friends to a girl? Was it the 22 year old with the banging body, or the 27 year old who was still hot but could talk about current events? My main plate is 26, and she's who I bring to parties and stuff.

Check my submitted history (I'm not going to link to it) for a post that is diametrically opposed to both Rollo's chart and your opinion. Hot women don't stay in LTRs very long, and LTRs that last have the man always being the more attractive than the woman, and that is in line with most RP theory, that women date up and men date down.

Both yours and Rollo's observations are anecdotal evidence at best.When you apply mathematical models to anything that cannot be measured objectively,then you are not dealing with hard facts.

With that said,when anecdotal evidence compound then we can safely say there is a correlation.

What most people fail to understand is that by the time you reach 30,you are probably in a LTR,married and in general out of the SM,despite your allegedly high value.

Now,this means there is a big demand on 30 year olds,but not much supply. So by definition,you are expected to see less 30 year olds hanging out with 20 year olds. The chart describes your value .It does not observe the ROI of said value.

Now,if we are to raise any question,would be on the assumption that high SMV 20 something year olds indeed want to fuck 30+ year old guys.

Well, I've been around longer than you, so my anecdotes mean more, and confirmation bias is confirmation bias. The problem is this; most of the old/young matches are relatively discreet, since both parties will be subject to no end of shit from their peers. Personally, I take their protests as delicious tears of envy, but whatever.

Also keep in mind that a fit, attractive (good genes) male in his 40s and 50s will look significantly younger than his peers.

SMV also includes things that are hard to see like social status and behavior. How much value someone sees in different aspects of smv can change per culture or individual. Its a marketplace, if there is a surplus of high smv women and a shortage of high smv men lower smv men can get hotter women.

Girls hanging out with older low smv dudes is usually them getting free shit. High smv girls married to lower smv older males can be the decent looking older dude with good earning potential marrying a hot girl and then getting complacent and fat while grinding away at his job to cover the insane spending of the high smv girl.

Lastly people arent always good at valuing smv.

The chart doesn't mean "both genders date their SMV equal and not their age equal" because if that was the case, you would see 36 year old women dating 60 year old men (their SMV equals according to Rollo's chart).

It's more about the relative power they have in the SMP/RMP compared to their age peers of the opposite sex and compared to younger/older individuals of their gender. I.e. a 23 year old woman is sky-high above both men their age as well as women beyond their 20s. On the other hand, an accomplished man in his mid 30s is in a far better position than a woman in her 30s or a man in his early 20s.

You don't see it because I don't look like I'm in my 30's at all. People often have mistaken me as 22 or 23 years old. My girl looks like she could be older than me and she's a 21-year-old model. You just can't spot a 30-year-old man.
