Their goal isn't really to look out for men's rights, which is something men have to do for themselves.

What they try to accomplish is to support and cultivate men who can take care of both themselves and their partners, and lead the relationship in the right direction. Give some encouragement to keep him going instead of breaking him down. We can't expect them to do our jobs, they only help us do better.

It may be disappointing, but TRP is indeed difficult and disappointing. We're on our own. We're solely responsible for ourselves.

Honestly, if TRP is simply men taking a realistic view of the world in order to make the best of themselves in the SMP and achieve their goals as men, then of course RPW would be filled with women who are doing the exact same thing but for themselves.

No, RPW should not be expected to prioritize or care about men's interests any farther than is required to maximize women's sexual strategies. Just like TRP should not be expected to care about women's interests any farther than to maximize men's sexual strategies.

There is a spectrum of behaviour ranging from assertiveness to passivity, from provision to being provided for. When judged by what other sex finds attractive (generally speaking, you're always going to have outliers), you can divide this spectrum into masculine and feminine. These things overlap.

Institutionalization and validation of these two things gives you traditional gender roles. You may deny it, but you want to put in effort and provide.

RPW is just validation of the following facts : "Men and women operate on a different neurological mechanism", "A woman's beauty fades over time", "Stable marriage beats casual sex". You cannot blame women for reacting to TRP in a manner that recognizes the truth, just like you cannot blame TRP reaction to batshit second wave feminism. If men can have one sub for validation of those facts (well, TRP on just first because of the first), then so can women. It is not the collective fault of the female sex in general (jk, all women are whores, har har har) for the present status quo. If you lurk RPW you will see that they are selective of the mate (they want to specifically avoid RP men who would plate them, but accept RP men who still haven't lost faith in marriage) and will work on stability of marriage. And you cannot blame a woman for wanting to keep custody of a child.

I'd say RPW is focused on sexual strategy that is inherent in each of the sexes and how that applies to successful relationships.

The majority of the women in that sub are in committed long term relationships and use the sub as a place to share what keeps a LTR healthy and happy. In red pill terms, this ultimately means us women submitting to our dominant men.

I think your confusion comes from the fact that you may not be someone who is LTR focused so RPW doesn't make much sense to you.

RPW does NOT look out for the goals of men and they do not claim to do so. RPW looks out for the goals of WOMEN with an understanding of Red Pill (i.e. what we used to call "reality").

TRP is sexual strategy for men. How do we get women to take their clothes off and spread their legs for us eagerly.

RPW is sexual strategy for women. How do we hook the most Alpha guy we can find to commit and get him to support us in return for the magic hoo hoo.

RPW's understanding of reality means that RPW promotes women being submissive, loyal, and sexually available to their Significant Other. They have my blessing! However, they are still women and they have different sexual agendas. At least RPW is honest about theirs so I say that ipso facto makes them Red Pill!

Men want sexual access, women want security and provision. All RPW is doing is discussing the same principles TRP discusses, but with a focus on what they want, i.e. an alpha male who is also a good provider. They'll talk about staying in shape and being submissive but keep in mind that their doing it for their own benefit, not ours.

It’s just women looking for someone to keep them fed and housed while they live out their childhood dream of being a homemaker. If divorce came up, the law favours women and most wouldn’t hesitate to use that to their advantage to make sure you’re slowly erased from your own kid’s lives.

That's such a simple way of looking at things. Many men desire to have a wife and children. Children aren't just a woman's dream, and taking care of children isn't a walk in the park. If a man and a woman are married for 15 years and the wife gives up her career to raise children and be a home maker, if they divorce does she not deserve compensation for her hard work as well?

Also in regards to child support, when people are married a large chunk of that money goes to the children. And some of that money does go to the woman as well but you need to realize if you have children majority of the time as single parent, it severely limits your career opportunities. Also most women want their children to know their fathers. In my own experience, I have seen far more men that fail to hang out with their children when it's their time of custody, that miss baseball games etc.

The only story you see on theredpill is the evil harpy that takes everything from the man and denies him from seeing their kids. When was the last time you read a story on here of a husband that beats his wife, or constantly cheats on her. Or a man that insults his wife all the time or a man that gets fat and lazy, while the wife works her ass off. It happens, and it happens more than you think.

RPW is a mixed bag of kinds of women and girls that mostly want to have a man they can keep. Some of them are just their because they want to be the girl that's cool with the guys some of them want a traditional relationship, some of them don't like feminism as it is today and some want their sons and daughters to grow up in a two parent household; I may be missing a few but for whatever reason they are there these are women that are willing to take the road less traveled to find better relationships.

RPW and TRP aren't movements nor are they meant to protect men's rights they are under currents in a series of broader movements that want to see different kinds of progress, like the MRM, egalitarian movements, social understanding and divorce reduction, improved lives for children, personal success and relationship success, and general life improvement.

TL;DR Your TL;DR nails it on the head but they aren't meant to be a watchdog group nor we. Another poster said they're about supporting men and that's about the most accurate description but they aren't throwing themselves under the bus for us.

I've gone there and done some reading. It's rather funny and sad at the same time. The women try their best to compatible with RP..and I think they are an important part of the ecosystem. RPM who really can't do without a LTR might find some benefit. However, AWALT, and it's pretty obvious even when reading RPW.

As for an example, see the post & comments titled: Keeping hypergamy in check - Men's or women's job? I probably should have stopped myself, but I couldn't help but add myself into the mix of comments.

I found this specific comment telling from an endorsed contributor: Men have an obligation to maintain the attraction and focus of the women they date.

With all of that said, women and men have opposing sexual strategies.
