Health:

Designed a workout program that’s going to get me in the best shape of my life, stayed consistent in the gym this week. Diet has been a bit shaky, need to get more calories in and hit protein goals. I’ll feel better and be able to push more weight.

Wealth:

Working my 13/hr summer job which is meh. Need to continue saving as much as I can. Waiting for school to start and I’ll work on getting a different job.

I decided to completely leave the videogames a fortnight ago and haven't played anything since then, that vice had been with me for more than 10 years (i played like 6 hours per day) and it was time to let it go, my time is more important than that.

I was taking advantage of my free time in more important things like lifting, reading etc. and coincidentally arrived at the red pill a few days ago, i'm very motivated now and learning a lot.

Started going to an entrepreneurship course that's required for me to get funding for my software company. Excited about this!
Am at a record weight of 187 lbs. Shooting for 194-ish by the end of the month. I don't seem to have gained much extra fat, although my six pack is not really visible. I'd say 16-17% body fat. Will trim this down in July.
Am sleeping as much as I need, although I'm not entirely happy about the schedule.
I need to read more, I've been slacking in this area the last few months.
I also need to practice guitar, mixing and mastering more. I've been focused on writing code and I've neglected these.
I also need to participate in Kaggle data science competitions. Been putting them off forever.
Income from my first app started trickling in. Need to scale it about twentyfold before I can live off it. Let's go!

But now my soon-to-be-ex-employers are being real bitches about this transition.

I work overseas so it is not as simple as you might think.

People love you as long as you fill their needs; get something for yourself and the knives come out.

Good: Trained in the gym 5 days, biked 42km on Sunday, went to work either running or biking every day. Ate my own-made food every day. Creatine regiment is starting to help me gain mass. Got poison ivy rashes on Sunday but kept to training every day; rashes and itching can go fuck themselves. Started reading the "4 hour work week" book.

Not good: Ate almost three liter of ice cream this week. Didn't really gain weight since I workout so much, but I could have done without. I have a problem with sweet food - addicted to the damn stuff. Earlier this year I managed to stop weed, booze and pizza... but ice cream is proving to be a challenge.

Barely played my instrument 30 minutes this week. Watched way to much TV. Did nothing constructive after the gym and work all week. Lame.

Short post again:

Positives:

Faith: I hate to keep harping on this one but I’m feeling healthier & more stable and I owe it to this major change. I have a genuine desire to be a good person and not just because of God or anything but being a good person just feels better even in times of crisis. I would seriously look into it even if you don’t want to go 100% all in.
Finals: As you are reading this post, I am writing my last final exam potentially ever but since I’m getting kicked out (as per last weeks post)- this doesn’t feel the most fun & exciting time ever. It does mean Semi-freedom but I still have other responsibilities.
Mental De-stress: After the final is over at 11AM I have nothing on my plate. I literally don’t even to think for the rest of the weekend. Just zone out & healing is my dream scenario. Besides the 10 AM saturday wisdom teeth removal :)
Netflix: This is never usually a good thing but if you are ever going through a crisis in life, end your night prior to your bedtime ritual with a funny show/cartoon like Family Guy or Archer or HIMYM(30 mins or less), to end on a laugh on the worst day is better than being sad for the whole day..
Lying: I’m cutting back on lying and other general forms of aggression like slander etc . I’ve been building a web of lies so deep for many many years that I don’t know which way is up anymore, it ends this week. I have consciously been monitoring my lies and am cutting back tremendously even if it means uncomfortable conversations. There are some huge things I have to keep hidden or else my life would completely collapse- I regret this so much but it’s a consequence of lying for years and years. Slowly I will deal with those ones also.

Negatives:

The rest of my life: I am grateful, I am grateful- I keep telling myself this. But the tornado of pain is literally about to begin. My parents don’t know my university fate, I have to start paying back my loans after a six month grace period and I have no income source and the recession is killing jobs where I am- I might even have to go to fast food just to get ANYTHING. This is my fault & mine alone and for that I must bear the consequences. My health issues are slowly making it more and more difficult to work even though I am only (19-21). I understand everything else in life but these health issues are what truly makes me feel a lack of fairness but that’s life I guess. If I am meant to live long enough to reproduce then I shall, if not I guess not then….

Positive?

Started the 80 days to 12% body fat program. Started at 15.8% on Day 1, today is Day 7 and I’m at 14.6%. I weigh 149.4 lbs.
Eating Schedule has improved and intermittent fasting and IIFYM eating has allowed me to eat anything I want within a small time space of about 8 hours. Really helpful and fits my schedule well.
Grades are improving rapidly. Been studying a lot more but it seems to be paying off in the form of A’s on tests in an especially hard class (Organic Chem).
Moved to a new dorm recently and had trouble making friends initially because most of my usual company are out of state for the summer. Getting more social though and better at starting conversations.

-Built my first Machine Learning model with Gradient descent from scratch. Focusing on understanding machine learning at its core.

Stayed away from weed and alcohol. Alcohol is fun to have in small quantities from time to time but it doesn’t make you anymore enjoyable to be around even though you might think so while drinking.
Weed is probably the worst drug I’ve ever taken and I’ve taken a myriad of drugs (won’t list here because this acc is my main). It makes me paranoid, anxious and increases my appetite ten-fold. It’s a total diet ruiner and I advise everyone who is serious about losing weight and getting their life together to stop using it.
Haven’t jerked in 3 days which is a bit of a PR for me. I usually jerk every night to prepare for bed.

Negative

Haven’t slept with a girl since March. Mostly because I’m pretty broke at the moment. Every day is going towards Organic Chemistry and programming.
No money. Poised to get job soon though.
Haven’t scored a goal in 4 games. Play right wing in soccer and I need to improve on my clinical ability in front of goal.
Strength in the gym has been relatively stagnant when it comes my bicep strength. Still only curl 30 lb weights but with excellent form.
Haven’t dated a girl in a while because no money. I’m kinda content because I’m focusing on myself atm.

Positive:

Personal site almost complete. Got a few blog posts done.
Will have been to the gym 4 times this week since moving back home.
Have to bike a few miles each way to the gym, which has been good for my cardio.
Completely booked my solo travelling holiday for a few weeks time.
Finished reading my first fiction book (A Clockwork Orange) in years.
Signed up for volunteering at a charity shop, which starts next week.
Still getting up early. This is now becoming habit, I believe.
Selling shit is still going well. Trying to rid of more 'stuff' that is just, well, 'stuff' and bears a mental burden and serves little/no purpose.

Negative:

Fapped a few times and watched porn once. Managed to not beat myself up (pardon the pun) afterward, but instead observe my compulsion to masturbate and find ways to stop doing so. I'm using it as a buffer to not get outside my comfort zone with girls.
My mental state is not great. Yesterday I was at the gym doing deadlifts and, just because I didn't beat my PR, I felt like a piece of shit. I believe the only reason for this is that I see the only problem in my life being women, and succeeding in other areas is just 'normal', and I feel little/no satisfaction from success unless it's to do with women.
Carrying on from the point above: When I sell stuff, clean my room/the kitchen for my family, beat a PR at the gym, develop a new blog post.. I only feel 'normal'. It's like I have to do these things to just not feel down and in a depressed state. If at all I miss the gym, or don't beat my PR, or sleep in bed until like 9am rather than 6am, then I feel like a bad person. Doing these things just makes me feel 'not shit'. The only way I believe I can feel good is by approaching girls. I have interacted with girls very little since last August (due to life situation and a lack of balls to get out of my comfort zone), and, since moving home (I moved house last week), I feel an immense pressure to finally make an approach. I feel I will do eventually, as it's like I'm only get more and more into a slump the longer I hold off from approaching.
And I know the fear is completely irrational. I know you just have to 'do it', and I've read way too fucking much and watched too fucking much, so I must do it. Anyways, I'm reading Feel The Fear And Do It Anyways, which you may think is some positive affirmation bullshit beta book, but I hope it helps me finally break down this wall that's been there for way too long. I must break down this wall, and I hope to soon go to the city on my own until I just fucking do it.

Neutral/Afterthoughts:

I believe I desire to travel so much to be exposed to so many opportunities to grow. Moreover, I want to see what the world is like; what people are like; what women are really like.
I read the shit that /u/heathcliff-- writes about and I'm like "fuck man, this shit happen. This is fucking reality. I desire to experience this stuff, not because I'm anything of a masochist, but because this shit is real. Of course, it's apparent that I don't desire it enough, for I'm not venturing out of my comfort zone to experience this. It's a journey, and I must be more patient, but more importantly, I should actually be getting outside my comfort zone with girls more, as I feel this is my biggest inhibitor, by far.

did 100 sit ups daily for the entire week. Ran 30 mins on the threadmill daily. But my weight is not reducing as much as few weeks ago. Seeing some results in my abdomen.

Good thing is, my BMI is now below 25 and fat percentage around 24.-25% considered healthy but still long way to achieve my goal. Giving it another month

Sleep. This in particular has become very important lately to me. I've begun sleep tracking after reading "Why We Sleep" by Dr. Matthew Walker. Check this book out, it seriously changed my life. I've been averaging 7.9 hours per night which I'm very happy with.

Ramping up my calories after some health issues put a major setback to my gains. Hitting 2500-2800 calories right now with no processed foods. Bumping this up gradually to 3300+ for a lean bulk.

Gave in to porn/masturbation one too many times this week, in a moment of weakness. For guys out there struggling with this, biggest change I made was tracking every single day on a calendar. Put a check mark if you're clean and an X if you're not. Marking down X's day after day made me feel like a such a piece of shit that I have almost completely stopped.

Party (triple bday) and wrote field report. Was very non-needy but didn't pull because I didn't engage enough. Let girls just slip away and didn't care to look after them. Should've persisted more, swung through the open.
Also wrote field reports of some previous events I procrastinated writing FRs for.
Otherwise have been feeling off socially. meh

Fitness 8.5/10

Been sick so only worked out three times this and they were relatively short workouts.
Still managed to PR quite heavy on the bench. 6 x 2 Pause Benchpress with 100kg.
And also managed 5 x 100kg Pause Bench (Filmed). This is at least a 5kg 5RM PR. Like last week or maybe week before that was the first time I ever did a 100kg bench for a double, Today I did 5! Really fucking happy about that. Solid reps as well
So despite sickness, I've worked decently hard and got results.

Misc 8/10

Passed an important test for my driving license. Thank fucking god.
Signed up for a school exchange to another country. Feeling too anxious and honestly doubting my decision. I think it's ultimately good for, and will be a memorable and good experience, but right now Im worrying a bit too much. I think I made the right decision though, even if I'm scared - Good things come when I go out of my comfort zone. I can let excuses and emotions stop me, or I can go with the flow and Enjoy a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience a completely different country.
Happiness has been somewhat compromised because I've been worrying about the above 2 points (test and exchange) but today Im feeling decent again.
sickness has made feel like shit and I've been is a lot of pain.
Went swimming in a hall close to my school. that was fun.

The good: Been hitting the gym 3x a week, staying active with surfing, swimming, hiking. went to the school to prepare for the fall semester. Getting my paperwork together to get a passport. Saving money. Last cold approach I did was last month, was successful in texting for a couple weeks but no date fell through. Making an effort to talk to more women. Bad: Ive been fapping more frequently, I basically quit porn but after about 5 days I snap and usually binge. I need to watch the drug use. I need to learn to follow through with things. I need to not worry so much about rejection. I need to clean my garage.

My progress

In the gym consistently.

Crafted a plan to turn an old 1.43 cumulative GPA at a community college into a 3.0 To Transfer allowing me guaranteed admission into a competitive business school.

Sacrificed an opportunity at a high paying car dealer because the hours won’t consist with college. Keeping my shitty cell phone sales job, so I can go part time in the fall.

Women: not much traffic for day game. Too broke to go out for night game. Reviving old shit with HB7s on social media.

Finally stopped using modafinil unnecessarily, my tolerance is ridiculous. Surprisingly no withdrawals effects but feeling a little tired on a full night sleep.

Also it sucks being in the top 10-15% of men my age, being comfortable and charismatic with HB8s and HB9s, but having so much less sexual experience than them, they don’t know that though.

Health:

DL 210 6-5-4 new PR

All other key lifts are up as well, almost to the peaks from my younger days. If I keep it up a the end of the month I'll be at PRs for every increase.

Added another day to the weekly workout schedule, now 4 days a week. Tons more core and every key muscle group will get hit twice a week with one day of PR focus per group.

Wanted to drop another 2lbs this week but didn't make it, remaining at 223 which is disappointing. Been eating almost no carbs and time restricted for a solid 4-6 weeks, so I'm fat adapted and down 27lbs over the last year. Gonna cut nuts out of my diet and replace with cucumbers :) which should reduce daily caloric intake by about 300-500cals a day (was eating a lot of nuts). Also I think I'm gonna go sans all alcohol for the next month, was drinking 1-3 vodkas a week so it wont have a huge impact but should help. I could try and cut more salt out but I'll see how the reduction in fats and alcohol helps. The goal is to hit 220lbs by end of July (well on my way) and then work on driving down % of body fat while keeping up the PRs without worrying much about body weight after that.

Passed some significant shit tests this week. Failing in that I agreed to go to dinner tonight with a couple I don't like hanging with (husband is a friend but the wife grates my eyeballs). But I said I'd do it so now to own my shit and have as much fun as I can.

Cavemanned her once, shot down once. Gonna initiate again tonight and every opportunity after that. Gotta figure out when I'm getting token resistance vs a hard "no", progress has been make and a lot more to do...

Best friend and fellow red pill recruit are gonna meet on Saturday and go over setting some personal goals we can share with each other. Plan is we can hold each other accountable for our personal progress. Should help to recognize progress too which should help boost morale.

Will be implementing some financial budgeting with the wife this coming week. Every day I think I should just kick her out and start over largely over the money, her shitty attitude and lack of sex. I've convinced myself to give it till the end of July to see some progress on her part. before I make a decision. I gotta figure out how to make it clear I'm not going to keep the imbalance going forward and she needs to start making more money. Easiest way would be to make an ultimatum but I'm not sure that would be overall productive. Either way this Sunday should be the day to deal with it. Specific suggestions are welcome.

Ran 6 miles yesterday with a 46lb weighted vest 13:15 pace. Ran 2 days prior 4 miles without vest 10+ min pace. Hadn't run much outside of interval sprints at my local crossfit/bootcamp training facility. Planning on upping it to around 13 miles in the next few weeks. I can also do 30 push-ups now with ease. Goal is 50 without stopping.

Positives:

my mom found an old camera, I had pictures of myself 5 to 8 years ago. I'm absolutely disgusted at my old self. I was roughly in my early to mid-twenties and I look like a frail little feminine boy with a weird old man face. Wow! I look weaker than the 95 lbs plate I'm currently fucking. I literally looked like Gollum from lord of the rings. Thank god I decided to invest in myself and put me first. Even though I haven't been to gym in months, I've been going for years and I look 10 times better now than I did. I didn't know about the red pill back then or even if it existed but I knew inside something was very wrong.
Maintained my PPL lifting routine for a second week. Glad to be back on a weight lifting program.
I bought two 10-pound iron plates to workout at home. Now I can increase the challenge for big compound movements
had a cold (James Bond style) shower everyday this week. feels great.
been going to bed relatively early everyday this week (i.e. between 10pm and 1am)
came in my new plates mouth. no complaints from her. she coming back for more this weekend

watched more some porn but I didn't spend more than an hour total

Started getting back into benching. My 1RM was 113kg last summer. Ive been benching heavy for a month and I got 110kg. Maybe it was muscle memory but I feel like I climbed pretty quickly up to it. Im going for 110 again next week and then 115 after.

Down to 221. Took 4 minutes off my one mile swim time. Taking a 30 mile bike ride tomorrow. The difference in how I feel after 6 weeks of counting and working out is incredible. I got down to a 38 waist and falling.

*Started a new eating regimen this week. I'm in pretty good shape as is at 6'0" 175 lbs., but I want to get down to 165 with added muscle. I've been working out (2/3 strength training 1/3 cardio) and am seeing some nice gains. I'm determined to get into the best shape of my life, and the transformation has begun.

*Completely overhauled my wardrobe with a few hundred dollars in new clothes. I really like the stuff I picked out.

*Have been reading and watching materials about getting back into the nightgame. Going out to bars alone makes things more difficult, so still looking for wingmen in the greater Seattle area (PM if interested).

Bought a TRX trainer last year (pre redpill) with some money that fell in my lap. Turned out there was really nowhere to put it in my apartment, so it got relegated to the closet, and I gave up on my fitness goals.

Anyway this year new city, and I tried getting back into fitness but fucked up my shoulder so I can't do heavy loads/the major compounds. Got really sedentary while the tendonitis ran it's course, and had to undergo 6 months PT the joint was so unstable.

Been meaning to get back to it, but I couldn't motivate to go to the gym quite yet. But I have a park a few minutes walk from my house with some pull-up bars and dip bars--you know the type of park workout equipment I'm talking about. I remembered my TRX and went 3 times this week. God I missed that sore muscle feeling that tells me I'm about to make gains.

Met a group of guys that meets there on the regular and worked in with them, and I'm feeling much better. I'm still not gym ready, but I can see myself making gains and further strengthening my joints with this for a while. Plus the guys I met seem pretty cool.

I have shit posture that I'm working on; major anterior pelvic tilt, rounded shoulders, forward head posture. So far I only know a few exercises to do with the TRX but I'm really focusing on my back muscles and my abs. I know there's a ton of workouts online so I'll start incorporating more exercises/muscle groups as I progress.

If anybody has favorite TRX exercises or routines for posture/joint stabilization I'd love to hear.

Positives:

Practiced basketball a lot this week. I'm aiming to make my JV team next year.
Quit porn two days ago. I'll only jack off occasionally without it.
Made a morning routine and night routine to follow.

Negatives:

Haven't actually been following the routines; my sleep schedule is fucked up as of now. I'm take steps to fix it though, such as going to bed 15 minutes earlier every night.
My diet is garbage right now. I need to begin disciplining myself by cutting off one type of junk food at a time.
