I take a lot of great personal meaning in this phrase. There are far too many men out there enamored with the idea of committing their lives to the Disney inspired betabux prison. They build themselves up into this heighty image of the perfect, chivalrous knight, dedicated to serving his damsel's every whim and need. In a way, they are just obsessed with self improvement and a positive self image in the same way that we are, except that they base their metrics off of the validation of another person, rather than through validation via their own self respect.

This false validation is a poison; it is the metaphorical arsenic feigning as life-giving phosphorous that slowly courses through your veins, seeping away at your masculinity.

By the time the poor diseased beta realizes his fate, it's already too late. He now has nothing: No positive masculinity, no self respect, and no woman to receive his steady morphine drip of validation from. If he's lucky, he'll still have a shred of ego left that can be set ablaze with red hot anger to begin what you and I know as the anger phase. He can only hope for a small ounce of flammable pride to remain to consume to begin the process of unplugging.

Unfortunately, this is rarely the case, and rather than choosing to finally know what rock bottom feels like, Brandon the Beta would much rather take comfort in knowing that he did "the right thing", and thus begins the deadly cycle, all over again.

Always remain mindful and see things for what they really are, bros.

No man wants to do these things. But Betas are self-deceiving, so they convince themselves they do. Yet, of course, it's really the woman who's directing the entire operation (link to briffaults law), and the Beta exists solely to serve his chosen Queen/God/Mother (aka "wife"). The Betas pay an infinitely high price for sex. They pay with their lives.

I disagree with this. I work, change diapers, pick up my kids from soccer because I want to do it. I want to provide for my family. I like being involved in my kid's lives. I don't jump for joy to change a diaper, but I'm doing it because it's my kid, not because I'm hoping doing it will get me laid.

I do agree with your underlying message. Stop trying to impress women with money. I've been guilty of doing it. If you go on a date with a girl and your goal is to have sex with her, get a drink and be direct about what you're looking for. If she's not down, then you peace out and keep living your life. If you go on a date and you want something serious, get a drink with her and be direct with what you're looking for. If she's not looking for the same thing or she's boring or she's crazy and wouldn't be a good girlfriend, then you peace out and keep living your life. I use to go on dates with the goal to impress girls, make them laugh, and make them feel comfortable. Then I realized, well shit, she's on this date with me, I've already done those things, so now I gotta figure what I want and what she wants out of the night, and if it matches up, to have some fun.

I wouldn't say kill ego. I'd say rebuild it. Kill the pride, yes, but it is your ego that will eventually lead you into a more Alpha state. Those who are Beta have a low ego to begin with. Their self-worth and self-esteem is not controlled by them, but by a woman who pulls the strings of the puppet.

You can't kill your ego. You have to make it stronger and more powerful. Your ego must become untouchable.

This is kind of a shit post in that you're basically accepting c. 2015 gender roles as a given and then treating it as a binary function. You don't have to do that. Also, the guy who's changing diapers and shit, he wanted to reproduce. Now I agree, he shouldn't be splitting diaper duty 50/50, but regardless he's not doing it to get laid.

If I'm reading this right your equating marriage to servitude and 'beta'ness. If so I don't agree with these absolutes. I agree there's plenty of soft cock husbands who seem to find perverse pleasure in being trampled on but there's also plenty that the arrangement works out quite well for. I get all sorts of debauched acts on tap in the bedroom when I want them. We have a great laugh together and With the exception of times away from work due to childbirth the misses has always early about the same (if not more) than me. She a great mum to our 2 (nearly 3) sons and they are well adjusted strong boys. She does the jobs around the house that a wife should and I do the jobs a husband should. I can (and do) live how I choose. All that is required of me is my that I stay the man. I've no doubt awalt is true but every relationship is symbiotic. She stops giving me what I want then I'm free to move on as well. Granted an objective look around tells me that I'm fairing pretty good in my marriage but it's not through blind luck. Just don't marry a fuckin idiot. When you find one that's not a fuckin idiot get her to become dependent on your strength.

I agree with your overall post, but I don't quite understand where killing your ego comes into play. Maybe it comes into play in the sense of NOT refusing to learn from your mistakes or from smarter, more knowledgeable people.

On the same token, putting yourself first is the most egotistical thing you can do. By living your life on your own terms, you are in fact strengthening your ego. The inherent message is, "I am awesome enough to deserve what I want on my own terms."

As for all of these betas getting fucked over, don't you think thier problem is that they lack self respect, as opposed to them having too much of it? My pride is the reason I don't allow other people to fuck me over. I believe I'm better than that and won't stand for it. Isn't that the message these men need to internalize, and isn't it also an egotistical pursuit?

This was one of the best posts I've ever read. Pure Red Pill theory. This is the reason I still come here. Sidebar material in my opinion. This one post alone could probably save tens of thousands of men's lives.

I hope for one of these like every other day when I come on here, but usually it's just mediocre stuff. Stuff that helps a bit, but nothing really high quality standing out. This is one of those high quality new ideas. As far as I know it hasn't been said before. There is still more yet to uncover.

I was at the gym the other day and I was doing my squats. An instructor passed by and told me how poorly I was doing my squats (which I was), and told me to go back to level one and start out properly. I agreed with him and then followed through with those exercises, because otherwise I wouldn't advance above the which I was at. This suprised him, because I wasn't angry about it. By the sounds of it, everybody he'd have to say this to would ignore him and keep doing it wrong.

I like the "infinity or nothing" idea. Because what it really speaks to is a fundamental difference in mindset: if you believe she's the prize to be won, then you will never win her once and for all. But if you believe that you are the prize to be won (and you actually live the life of a man), then she will try to win you.

But I disagree with the 'kill the ego' part. I love my ego. It's an assertion of an optional truth. The ego is how you place your bet. It's also how you show you value your self. And that's good for the following reason: you take on risk, and a life of risk is better than a life without risk. Life can only be interesting if you're personally invested in things turning out one way or another (meaning you have an ego investment) and you tell others about your investment (meaning there's now a slight sense of fear of loss of social capital if you don't get what you want).

I strongly hate any way of thinking that says you should abandon the ego because it's the source of attachments and attachments are the source of pain. Only pussies are afraid of pain. Nothing great was ever done without risk. I won't go into my whole spiel on this, but the bottom line is if you won't put skin in the game, you're a pretty boring person - and that's the worst way to be.

Excellent post! I would postulate that part of admitting you have been wrong for so long means starting the anger phase for most men (me included) and there is a fear of dealing with it. This phase sucks and is tough to get through but once you are on the other side, you can read a post like this and just knowingly nod and smile. :)

This describes my friend 100%. This guy is a surfer, great job, always works out, has many friends and now he's back with his GF of many years after a break.

His GF punched him in front of me and he tried to play alpha but it was pathetic. I would have left her on the spot. We talked about his GF and he said he wants to save her basically. He was also talking shit about his uncle who is a MGTOW but still fucks like he was a loser for not having kids.

He will wake up at age 45 when he's divorced and friend-less because all his approved wife friends will take her side after the imminent divorce.
