As a dude who went from being a fatty to a skinnyfat 219lbs at 6'2" (huge frame) to a jacked 276lbs as of today, I can confirm to all of you that size makes a huge difference.

High School / College

The last 2 years of high school sucked. Hard. I was bullied mercilessly by the friends of the popular girl whose mom was FWB-ing my biological father (zero contact with him in over a decade). Didn't play on the varsity team either year (too depressed to tryout), started eating junk, and fell into a deep rut where I went to school, then sat in front of the computer and read basketball news and fapped. Every day. Didn't date, didn't go to prom, etc. Buzzed my head, let acne cloud my face, etc.

College early on was no better. I ballooned up to 270+ lbs of pure fat, made excuses why my brother was able to become aesthetic AF, and became suicidal. Met some friends, but not the kind that I imagined would last. Was studying computer science (...) and trying to become a basement dwelling programmer who could avoid social interaction.

Then, one day I discovered Greg Plitt and he changed my entire trajectory. I stopped making excuses for everything, got my ass into the apartment "gym" and started doing 40+ minutes of the elliptical 1-3x a day. Cut out gluten and dairy, ate as much meat as I could, and focused on getting lean. Over 1.5 years, I dropped to 219lbs but because there was no weight training, I was merely a smaller rendition of the fat guy I used to be.

Joined an actual gym in July 2013 and basically benched 295 after about 3-4 weeks (no, not frauding). Deadlift and squat sucked, but slowly built up. Anyways, I started making friends because I was the nice, quiet guy who got along with everyone. Met a chill surfer-type dude who was FWB with the girl I liked at the front desk and basically he provided the first glimpse into red pill (showed me his phone with multiple chicks on the backburner). Shortly after, I met the guy who became my best friend and a big brother figure. Thought me to think of all women as "pigs with warm holes", "scum beneath our feet", "whores", etc. (He works in Plano as an engineer for Texas Instruments making 6 figures right after graduating lol - also married to a legit loyal Thai chick).

Over the upcoming years I made some solid progress and started noticing an increase in attention from chicks. Granted, part of it might have been the fact that I started growing my hair and beard out but I attribute it mostly to gym haha. In 2016 I decided to take it another step and since then it's been insane. Pretty much anytime I trawl 6th Street in Austin, I'm garnering the attention I only dreamed of. As a note of reference, I've worked out at the gym at the same time as Jerrell Freeman (some NFL guy) and I'm considerably bigger than him...

What Changed

I went from walking with my head down at all times to having shoulders in the right position, chest up and walking with my head high. Rather than looking at the athletic guys around me and sitting back with pity for myself and jealousy of their "genetics", I now feel like the king of the jungle. I get compliments about from guys AND girls, have plans to workout with a HBB 9 in a week, and just in general feel like going from a 3/10 to a self-rated 8/10 has made everything I deemed impossible (owning my own business, taking a year off to travel, etc) feasible because the only limit is in your head.

Some Positive Experiences About Being Aesthetic/Big

At ACL I was constantly asked "what supplements do you take" (ahem), "how much you bench?", "how strict is your diet" (pizza every day during my last cycle), etc. This stuff constantly happened for approximately 8 hours while with my now ex GF and her friends last year. Anytime I went to order drinks, I'd look around and see broads checking me out. When I was listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers (I'm purely R&B/rap fyi) alongside my ex GF and her friends, on two separate occasions girls grabbed my ass as I was walking through to get a better view.

In New Orleans this past May, when I was talking to a bouncer at one of the bars my group got into an altercation I walked out there and got out in front of my friends and the cooler head on the other side stepped out and said we should all go our separate ways (which I agreed with - fighting is stupid). The folks on the balconies were whooping and saying shit like "ooooooh he gon' fuck shit up" and some black guy walked up and gave me that gangster handshake and said "you swoll motherfucker".

Almost got into an altercation at IHOP (IHOB I know) a few months back with a drunk middle aged guy and his wife. They were making fun of my GF and I basically asked what's up, he got in my face talking about "get the fuck out of here before I beat your ass" (mind you he's 150lbs soaking wet), etc. Cop comes by (IHOP hires them to sit in restaurant after 2am when bars close) and tells him to "sit your ass down before he puts you down" and takes me outside to get my story and basically says he respects the fact that I stood up for my girl but restrained myself, that he'd have done the same, and that he's going to kick them out (they had just ordered their food - karma).

Today

My previous live-in GF was 5'10, my soon-to-be ex is 5'2 (peep the forearm/hand size for comparison), and I'm about to hit the market even bigger and more aesthetic lol.

P.S. My nickname is Adonis at the gym (and no not because of Drake).
