Lifting is not just about getting jacked. Lifting is a discipline. Getting up early, going to the gym when you really would rather lie in bed next to a naked sweaty girl takes discipline. Putting the donut down takes discipline. If you're jacked, you can't help but show that you have complete control over at least one aspect of your life. This control and discipline bleeds into your personality. You actually become a more confident, self-assured person. That's the kind of guy women want.

OP, there appears to be numerous half truths here. I will speak, having made this mistake, that lifting is indeed useless... On its own. I had made the mistake of constantly saying just 50 more lbs and girls will find me attractive. Untill one day, I'm benching 350, deadlifting 500, and I shit thee not, still a virgin. Yeah sure I was up 60lbs since I started, but I was still the same insecure frightened child I was before. Without application of game and social skills, lifting isn't that useful.

Jack Lalanne worked out every single day until the day before he died. If I can do 1 arm pull-ups when I'm 96, as opposed to being barely able to walk when I'm 70, then that time in the gym is worth it

I don't know where this idea of lifting even came from. So many guys on here think that working out a lot at the gym will help dramatically improve a guy's chances with getting females' attraction. Before schwarznegger came along in the 70s, the entire idea of lifting didn't really exist. People would go swimming, riding their bikes, playing tennis, to stay in shape as adults. Nobody went "lifting".

The average adult wasn't fat back then. Times change, so does sexual strategy. Lifting did exist. Fucking Ben Franklin wrote about lifting weights, and we know humans did it going back thousands of years. Your post is mostly bullshit. 99.99% of the people here aren't taking $50,000 a year worth of gear like Ronnie Coleman.

This is legit, gym culture disgusts me and makes me cringe. Most people who lift have small dicks and are short and are just compensating. The funniest is when good looking twinks get all the women and lifters get butt hurt that a guy who doesn't lift is getting women.

Body fat % is the only think that matters and you don't even have to lift to lower it. Playing sports and being athletic is a lot better than lifting.
