Dudes who had looks, athleticism, and popularity in school (far too often) rest on their looks and egos as a guaranteed future, which proves to be unsubstantiated in most cases. MOST people who play High School sports never succeed in landing scholarships and careers in sports. They fall flat once they face normal life setbacks... After that happens they have a hard time regaining footing and the women that chased them are left as single mothers or older single women.

Guy who didn't have looks generally/likely focus on education/inspirational careers and end up making decent money and in building stability in life which becomes the very thing that women from my prior paragraph look at (later in their lives) as a necessity. now these guys are suddenly attractive, but the women in scenario #1 are worn out, and used up (in essence).

There is around 6.8 Billion people in this world right now... The ideal of being chosen or special fades hard as one ages. This happens for BOTH women and men in older age, where you realize that most of us are not a chosen individual... It's then time for us to develop our humility and become a real human being... I am not interested in a woman who can't manage to make that change, because a person who believes they are special while living among 6.8 billion people is a true ego-maniac. We make ourselves special through only our actions and grace as a human being. Being angry at others doesn't make you special, going to the gym doesn't make you "special", it just helps your health. This is why ugly dudes defy expectations sometimes and end up with great women. Personality and actions rule in having successful and lasting relationships, not jargon and attitude. Start from the point of realizing that you're not special, before you start with your ego - making monologues on youtube and shooting innocent people...

Life is driven by money in this aspect unfortunately, because it is a key resource in ensuring survival for all of us. It's a fukt up game, but learning the rules are essential to perseverance. Depending on your personal situation, and what you're willing to put up with, you may take a woman and her children in, that makes you no less of a man. We're all free to choose as we wish.

Sometimes compromising for a woman that enters into your life is necessary to finding someone who will be good for you. Because we're all free individuals, judging a woman for her mistakes prior to meeting you is a big mistake. You have the ability to overlook her past and evaluate her in the now... I highly recommend watching the movie "Chasing Amy" as an example of this.

I personally can make my own convictions of what is acceptable to me in terms of choosing a mate, if I spent a lot of time being mad at a woman that she didn't choose me prior to making mistakes with other people, that's about as much a waste of time as trying to kill all of the flies in the world.
