Love and the High Value Man Trap
If you’re a high value man, women are going to “fall in love” with you. They’re going to push for upgrades, they’re going to try to lock you down with remarkable consistency. And it will happen in subtle ways, it can sneak up on you. Female charm is very persuasive.
This is especially dangerous for guys who have only recently developed some SMV because, if you’re like most guys new to TRP, a lot of your effort has been spent developing frame and game that will make you more attractive to women. You haven’t put so much thought into keeping them away. You were like a dog chasing a car, no idea what to do when you caught it.
Once your SMV reaches sufficient heights, you’re going to find that women will try to lock you down and secure commitment from you at rates you didn’t see before. If you aren’t prepared to deal with this, you can land yourself in some shit.
Female Sexual Strategy.
Quick review: female sexual strategy contains two components. Sex from high-value men (alpha fucks) and resources/provisioning/commitment (beta bucks).
The reality is that there is no clear distinction between “alpha” and “beta” in most people in reality. If you’re a real RP man who’s turned himself into a high-value alpha, it is most likely that you’ve also got a lot of attractive beta traits. That is, women will look at you and in addition to seeing that you are sexually desirable, they will see that you’re materially desirable. That you have those mouth-watering resources that would be very valuable to them if they could lock them down.
If you have your shit together as a man, you will be attractive to women as both an alpha fuck and a beta buck.
You’re going to spin plates and you’re going to frame yourself as the AF but women are going to try to lock you down.
Frame
I’m something of a heartbreaker. I have a tendency for plates to “fall in love with me.” It happens more often than not, actually.
The reason for this is that I’ve got a mix of AF and BB qualities. The BB side of my appeal includes the fact that I’m intelligent, well travelled, communicative, I have money, I like kids, I’m very good at getting inside girls’ heads and earning their trust. I have a lot of the traits that signal to a girl that I’m an attractive prospect for an LTR.
I also approach plates with a frame that can be described as follow:
“I like you, I enjoy what we have together, and I’m willing enjoy more time together and you will feel amazing in this time with me. BUT you are just a plate, and if you cross the line (disrespect me, shit test me) or start demanding from me more than I offer, then it’s over and I will have absolutely no difficulty dropping and replacing you immediately.”
I suggest that you attempt approaching your plates with a similar frame. It’s very useful. I will explain why.
If you’re new to TRP you MIGHT think that this combination would cause women to stay away from me. On the contrary – it makes them “fall in love with me.” Now, for me this isn’t the goal, this is an unintended consequence.
Falling in Love
The purpose of my frame is to be able to approach the plate-spinning exercise honestly without having girls encroach on my life. The intention is not to make plates “fall in love” with me. But the fact that they view me as high value and I have proper frame causes them to believe they’re falling in love with me.
This has happened to me again and again and again. It astonishes me. How the fuck can these girls who don’t know a fucking thing about me, actually believe that she loves me? I fucked you three times and you’re in love? This is insane, how can this possibly be?
Let’s unpack what this means. In this context, the love of a plate isn’t what one might call “real” love because it’s premature. There are women that I’ve loved in life, but it was after years of shared life experience together. It was based on something. They had done things to earn my trust and add value to my life. But when a plate “loves” me, what this means is that they’ve perceived I’m high value and their brains told them, hey, this one’s a catch, better lock it down. That’s what love is. That is why women can “love” and “hate” with such convenient fluidity. “Love” is the emotion that turns on in the woman’s brain when she realizes a guy has something of value she wants. “Love” is the word society uses to add legitimacy to Briffaults Law and the fact that we believe deserve access to men’s resources.
Why do we hear so many stories of wives who stop loving husbands after he shows a moment of weakness? Because he’s demonstrated that his value is lower and therefore she perceives his usefulness to have expired.
Why do so many young women “love” celebrities, singers? Why do 13 year old girls fall in love with Justin Bieber? They don’t know anything about him, they haven’t met him, how can they love him? Because they’ve understood at an intuitive level that he’s high value (in an adolescent’s interpretation of high value) and a woman’s instinct is to flock towards high value, and flee from low value. Just as men can look at an 18 year old girl with big tits and perfect skin and feel a primal urge in their lizard brains to get closer to her, women look at high-value, high-status men this way. High-value, high-status men are oddly parallel to big boobed 18 year old girls – because what men are instinctively attracted to isn’t indicators of social status, it’s indicators of health and fertility. Human nature is quite funny and silly when you really think about it.
This means that if you’ve demonstrated enough value you’re going to have plates that don’t only want to fuck you, but that they’re going to fall in love with you. And let’s clarify: they don’t love you, least of all if they don’t know you that well. What they’re feeling is what happens in the female brain when it senses a shot at locking down some high value. This is why nobody loves low-value men no matter how nice they are. Because “love” is female instinct’s way of saying “give me that value.”
Frame and Shit Tests
This “love” is going to make them put on a whole lot of really charming behaviors. Especially if you’re able to put on the frame I’ve described above. If you’re able to let them bask in the joy of your frame, and also if you’re able to completely dominate them sexually, but maintain the frame that “if you fuck up, I will boot you immediately and I will replace you just as quick,” speaking from experience this makes women want to do anything you want.
And also, in my experience, they will put this to the test. MOST of the plates I’ve spun have had a phase early on when they shit tested, or pushed for an upgrade that I had made clear from the start wasn’t in the cards, I gave them the boot. 100% of the time they came running back after a few weeks. Here’s an example:
Plate: aggressive, bitchy shit test in the context of pushing for an upgrade
Me: You know I enjoy your company when you’re nice, but if you aren’t able to speak to me like a respectful adult then you don’t need to come back again.
Plate: Fine! I don’t need you anyway!
wait one month
Plate: “heyyyy down_with_whomever, how are you? I’ve missed you so much, why haven’t you called me?”
See, the fact that I demanded respect worked because I had already established my frame and value in her mind (and fucked her brains out). If a low SMV guy were to run this same line, it wouldn’t work. That’s one of the difficulties with using pre-rehearsed game without having cultivated the SMV to back it up. Everything you say and do is filtered through your SMV.
Not giving a shit when she storms out has established your dominance over her. NEVER, EVER chase her. Ever.
Failing the Shit Test
I wrote earlier in the post that this is dangerous for guys with only recently cultivated SMV. This is because the charms women will put on when they “love” you can be really really persuasive. It’s so easy to fall for it.
We’ve heard a lot of stories here on TRP about guys who got married to a woman who “fell in love” with him right at the moment that he was at an SMV upturn (in med school, law school, etc) who are nice right up until the marriage, when everything changes… Then during his SMV downturn (unemployment, illness, depression) she “realizes” she never loved him. Cue the end of the story for BB: divorce rape.
Conclusion
This the “trap” to which I refer, and the consequences of not realizing what “love” usually means.” If you’re a high value man, you’re going to have women and plates falling in love with you, regardless of how well they know you or whether or not they care about you as a person because this is their biologically instinctive mechanism for locking down your value.
If you’re going to spin plates as a man with high value, be prepared for the fact that this will happen. Prepare yourself to internalize the frame that you must be willing to drop any plate at a moment’s notice, because if you do not, you might find yourself as one of those poor chumps who has unwittingly shared his life with someone he didn’t actually want to be with, but who “charmed” her way in with pussy and “love.”
