I'm generally of the opinion that none cares about your opinion... but I've gotten so much good information here I thought I should post my own experience and contribute to the community.

The tl;dr version of me: I'm 40ish. Divorced. My ex-wife grossly overestimated her SMV. Seriously... She screwed up in leaving. I have a great career in genetics research. I make 100K plus in the deep south. I set my own hours and love my job. I run 20+ miles a week and lift some but I'm no meat head ;) My SMV is high frankly... it was for shit when I was 19 but now... yeah... I have my pick with no problems. My head was buried in books for years. I learned to fly airplanes, play music, program computers, etc etc etc for years. The ladies couldn't give me the time of day because I had no 'game' but holy crap... the tables have turned. I have kids and they are fantastic and I have them more than 50% of the time. I got married young. At 22ish to a pretty dumb girl.

The idea of maintaining frame, playing the game... well it's not at all interesting to me. I know... head to /r/mgtow

I'm in a LTR now. She is a 7... maybe an 8. A few years younger... divorced... a gay ex-husband... she cooks every night, cleans... she is a red pill girlfriend for sure.

I'm not getting married. I make great money. I own multiple houses. I have a solid retirement... You don't want to cook and clean? FU. You don't want to help with my kids? FU. You want me to hold frame and keep my feelers to myself? FU. You are not in the mood for sex? FU. My LTR is from the position of FU. I don't need sex... I don't need a girlfriend. I don't need a f--king thing. FU.

Be interesting. Help me out. Make my life better. I'll damn sure make hers better... I'm smart, educated, ambitious, successful... I can help you do anything. Be fantastic and 100% open for any kind of sex every time I want it or FU. GTFO.

For the last year it's worked like a charm... but maybe I have a unicorn. Or maybe it will all turn to shit but you know what I'd say? FU...

She can stay as long as she wants so long as she stays in shape, sexy, helpful... cooks, cleans, helps with the kids... if she leaves tomorrow? FU. I can find a date. If I can't... I can find craigslist or backpage once a week.

This all seems to make her simultaneously uncomfortable and nervous and content at the same time.

If you want a LTR... don't bother holding frame... don't play dread or any other form of game. Sit firmly in your position of FU. It's all too exhausting in the long run.

tl;dr? A successful LTR relationship comes from a potion of FU. Anything else to too god@#$n exhausting.
