Today I want to talk to you about lazy posts.

I hate lazy posts.

What's a lazy post? Here's an example:

Title: This chick doesn't even know when to stop

Text: Lol, look at this shit.

Don't even bother posting stuff like that. I will delete it with the fury of a thousand-hour erection.

Videos

I also see some of you trying to circumvent the No Video Links policy by posting a link to a video with a paper-thin, one sentence summary of the contents. That is no bueno as well.

"Thoughts?" Posts

Discussion worthy events come up all the time. I understand that many of you wish to engage the community because you are interested in our views. However, if you post some shit like this:

Title: Donald Sterling racist stuff Clippers n shit

Text: Donald Sterling was in the news today. Thoughts?

It's going in the trash. These posts are no better than the comments that ask "What's a hamster?"

If you want our thoughts, you must first offer your own. The more substantial and nuanced, the better. "I think Donald Sterling is an asshole" is a shitty comment and it certainly does not cut the mustard as a post.

A Rule of Thumb

If your post looks like a tweet, it's going in the garbage.

If it looks like a middle school drop out wrote your post, it's going in the garbage.

If how your post relates to TRP is not clear from either your analysis or the title of your link, garbage.

Luckily, most recent submissions have actually been pretty good in terms of quality, but I still want to encourage all of you to invest a little more brain power into your communications.

Now go out there and make an internet feminist cry.
