People, namely people involved in this new "pop-philosophy" craze of "social justice" and feminism, completely have lost respect for individuals. Women like this (not all women, just the ones who have been raised in this mentality) cannot understand individual responsibility because they have none, so they become big govt advocates until the scales are tipped disgustingly in their favor.

They take it a step further, crying that all individual behavior is a product of social institutions, so all bad things men do is because of our patriarchal institutions and social attitudes. And all bad things women do happen because of these same nebulous "institutions" which justifies their behavior.

It's all a massive charade, a huge spider web of rationalizations to avoid facing the truth. The truth is individual choice and power is real. Between stimulus and response, people have the power to choose. They are individuals, responsible for their decisions and the consequences of those decisions.

It's ironic because what social justice USED to be, back in the days of Gandi or early civil rights or even early feminists, was "I'll make shit better by making a personal decision." I won't use British salt. I will make my own clothing. Gandi didn't blame the British for the violence that erupted in India between Hindus and Muslims after the Brits pulled out, he blamed the individuals who were making the choice to be violent on both sides, even though the British were pretty fucked up.

Even the pro-communist leaning black power groups had a stronger sense of individual responsibility than today's feminists / SJW crew. Social justice was about refuting the idea that massive institutions controlled human behavior. It was about saying "no matter how shitty things are, I retain the power to choose how I will act, and that will better the world."

Now social justice just means bitching at someone else, usually women's "daddy" figure, the government, to fix shit.
