She answered with someone else's name.

A Beta would have corrected her and stayed with her because she could do no wrong in his eyes.

An Alpha would have done what he did and had some self respect and dignity. He left her high and dry. This ultimately drove her nuts because she's never been treated like she's not special.

Maybe it is, but why does that matter? There's no way we could ever confirm or deny its validity, so this speculation is just a complete waste of time.

Even if we assume it's bullshit. A guy on the internet made up a story for a bit of ego gratification. Who gives a shit? His story is fairly thought provoking, and has a good chance of inspiring others to follow suit in terms of maintaining self-respect when interacting with women.

I never understood people who call "fake" on the internet. It doesn't achieve anything if you're right, and makes you look like a prick if you're wrong.

This story has nothing to do with that and is only attempting to stoke the OP's ego and make him seem like a "player". It's pretty sad and most of the guys on this sub are pretty sad. I subscribed to it for the cringe and so far I have not been disappointed.

Been lurking around /r/TheRedPill since it had like 17k subscribers. I have read many posts like this and this was the same reaction I had. This post is bullshit. Particularly the name-forgetting component. First we have:

Light texting/banter with conversation lasting approximately 10 minutes. Tone was set and so was the date later that evening.

So the OP and his supposed date have certainly exchanged numbers, talked before, planned this date, and now talk again the day of the date. It seems impossible that the date would not know the OP's name at this point.

But then...

I calmly say to my date “I had an excellent time tonight, do you remember my name date?” She paused for a sec and said, “what do you mean Bryan, don’t be silly, get in the car already it’s cold and rainy.” And just like the feeling you get after you have deadlifted 10,000 fucking Earths at the gym, I shut the door in revalacious (my own word) joy and tell the cabbie to just drop this girl where she needs to go. (Bryan must have been the hipster dudes’ name, it is not mine).

Written like a true creative writing major (who ironically, describes himself as STEM elsewhere in the story). This is ridiculous. There's no way this girl would not remember his name given what I described above.

This story has Red Pill tones to it but ultimately I feel it only serves to hurt this subreddit rather than help it. I'd prefer factual posts, or posts based on real events rather than this made up bullshit designed to boost the OP's ego.
