A couple of years ago, I used to visit a therapist on a weekly basis just to talk about life, my issues, get shit off of my chest.

One day we were talking about self hatred/self loathing. He said "Self hatred is the single greatest threat to personal improvement for any man. Black, white, old, young, fat, skinny. If you can't manage your self loathing, you'll never become a better person."

Right now, I am in a state where I have such deep self loathing that it is becoming a struggle to not just post on craiglist an ad for somebody to come over and kick my ass for me for $50 bucks. I just don't know where it comes from so strongly like this sometimes but I imagine I am not the only Red Piller who struggles with this.

My question to you people... How do you manage it? Anything you found that helps which you'd like to share?

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go drop a hammer on my foot...
