Girl: "So are you some kind of player?"

Me: "I have mistresses who will not suffer me to be from them neither day nor night."

The language changes and so does the cultural manner of discourse, but the underlying principles don't.

[–]Iupvoteforknowledge14 points15 points16 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm fucking literally going to use this next time I get that shit test.

[–]TheQuickAndTheRed0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Would work on theater chicks.

Also note: like good advertising or propaganda, the explication is that he WILL charm her, but the reality is that is already IS charming her just with those words. In fact, he basically already has done the hardest part.

Nothing ever changes. It's a blue pill myth that society progresses, we learn morals and what the world is really like, to finally graduate from primality into modernity. What they've given us is of course the same af/bb move that cavemen had and sjws have made the primal racial/sexist biases mandatory considerations for any interaction. Feminism isn't abandoning gender roles; it's putting them on steroids with a little extra female privilege thrown in. The fact that this shit goes over people's heads shocks me.

Orbiters were just dudes bribing their way into some private rape when cave lady let her guard down.

[–]CuddleMyNeckbeard2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Not really. If the alpha ever found out about this, they'd be dead.

[–]herewehoagain 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If only that could return.

Let's not forget women aren't above wanting an anonymous piece of ass too though.

We are animal first, then people. Amygdala, then frontal lobe. I can't believe google chrome didn't add 'amygdala' to its dictionary.

[–]Ohmyqueef40 points41 points42 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

This actually kind of disheartens me in a way. AWALT for all of human history.

But, on a lighter note, Game has existed for ages! We're just carrying the torch.

[–]reigorius13 points14 points15 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, funny to think Socrates as a PUA.

[–]Libertarian-Party23 points24 points25 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

"Hey guys, This is RSDSocrates here today with another GreeceTube video on Inner state! Now your state is like a mountain, and the cave is your inner state. Never forget your cave when attempting to procure your Greek mistresses!"

[–]thisisjadaho 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I would have paid attention in college philo if this were the presentation.

[–]antihostile11 points12 points13 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

“I have not leisure enough to come and see you; I have both public and private affairs which take up too much of my time. Besides, I have mistresses who will not suffer me to be from them neither day nor night, and who against myself make use of the very charms and sorceries that I have taught them.”

THE END.

That was one well spoken slut

I bet the men cleaned it up with they wrote what she said.

It is fucking criminal that students aren't formally taught about Western civilization, including history and philosophy. These days it is common to hear "educators" with advanced degrees proclaiming that whites "have no culture" and that ethnic narratives are more relevant for white students.

[–]katabn 10 points11 points12 points 11 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

You can't be forced into studiying history and philosophy. Sometimes, you need an introduction but after that it is up to you to take the time to educate yourself. Same goes for lifting BTW.

[–]Endorsed ContributorFLFTW1619 points20 points21 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Yes, you can be forced. It's called government school, where you are forced to learn all sorts of things. Right now at the college level it's more common to take classes in Womens' Studies or African Studies than to learn about Western Civ. Due to the trickle down nature of education, high schools and even middle schools push Marxist/SJW/feminist ideas and philosophy. Most kids are not taught Socrates or Shakespeare, they are indoctrinated with ideology.

Kids who grow up having never been taught about Western Civ, not surprisingly, lack Western values. You know, ideas like individual liberty, freedom of speech, ethics, being innocent until proven guilty, etc. Kids who don't know Western values grow up to be adults that don't defend western values, and you know, have no problem with censorship, or hanging a man for being accused of a crime without evidence, etc.

When western values have no advocates (because no one knows what the fuck they are) we should not be surprised when new values replace the old ones. The new values are safety, inclusion, diversity, female empowerment, etc.

I remember reading Nietzsche in some university classes.

It was basically "He had brilliant insights into the theory of truth and was ground breaking in comparing ancient Hellenic morality to the modern Christian morality. But don't pay any attention to what he said about women. He didn't know anything and was a white privileged misogynist."

It was the same for most of the important 18th and 19th century thinkers. They had important things to say about science and politics... but women? Bah! White privileged misogynists.

[–]Steve_Wiener3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Can confirm. Have 12+ years of miseducation under my belt.

[–]throwawayOP38411 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What university system did you go through? I went through SUNY and graduated undergrad less than five years ago... this seems pretty overly exaggerated.

[–]katabn 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I see your point but to me gov education (when it is done correctly...) can be a good start to enter philosophy, especally If you had a good teacher that helped you to understand what philosophy really is.

The time organisation in school is so that philosophy will always be teached at a superficial level and it is up to you go to go deeper and build your own philosophy.

[–]DaphneDK0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Reading the classics of Western Civilization, and in general just properly educating yourself, has long since become a sign of rebellion and individual thought. The conformists are the ones that stick to the whole Western Civilization = evil narratives.

[–]B_uckets0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree 100%. It makes me angry when I think about how much I missed out on by not being exposed to philosophy in high school or earlier. Instead of learning logical reasoning and tons of valuable, real life lessons we were forced to read made-up bullshit like The Great Gatsby and The Scarlet Letter. Or we were learning that one guy became king of England, then he was killed. Then another dude became king of England, and so on and so forth.

I find reading fiction and learning history as enjoyable as anyone else, but the purpose of those classes is to educate, not to entertain. We should be teaching kids how to think, not what to think.

No Charm, No Love

...if everyone could simply remember this one rule you could solve most all problems with women.

The Beta does not expect the woman to Charm him, but turns things upside down and attempts to play the woman's role by Charming the woman.

Prince Charming is exactly wrong.

No Charm, No Love

Socrates got it exactly right.

So Crates

We're all on an excellent adventure.

[–]LaV-Man0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Since that movie, whenever I hear or read Socates, in my head I hear "So Creates".

Damn you B ill and Ted!

[–]sealteamaus 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

We have something in common

and who against myself make use of the very charms and sorceries that I have taught them

I made this mistake by telling a girl what I liked. she knew exactly what to do to control me after that

[–]aazav1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Shit. Why the hell was the post removed? That blows.

[–]∞ Mod | RP Vanguardbsutansalt0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

OP can't follow the rules. Once it's edited I'll approve it.

[–]B_uckets0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I just read the post guidelines again and still have no clue what you're talking about.

Either way, when you remove good content it's the sub that suffers, not the OP.

Add a summary/tl;dr at the top, and a lessons learned at the bottom of your original post. The summary introduces what you're about to talk about, namly why it's TRP relevant, and at the bottom you list a few things you learned from the material in question. This thread is an excellent example of how threads should now be strutured:

Read the Satires by Juvenal to see that behavior was the same 2 thousand years ago, as it is now.

I like the one where the senator's wife ran away with a common gladiator. He wasn't even young and good looking, but he was danger.

That blows. It was a good post.

[–]Steve_Wiener-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What are these charms and sorceries, though? That is the real question. I never knew Socrates was a wizard.
