There's a difference between whining about something like feminism, and using it as a crutch or excuse for your predicament or lack of success and, simply accepting the world for what it is but yet not simply roll over as if it was a fait accompli, and take it in the ass. For example, a lot of the feminist topics discussed on this board are feminist ideas on the bleeding edge of the hysterical ivory tower minority - some of these ideas are not quite mainstream yet and needn't be if men simply said "no", and kicked their fat cankled feet from that toe-hold.

I, for one, know when to speak (or not, if speaking lends importance, and/or is dangerous), and I will not be silenced because silence is precisely the vacuum which invites those silly twatty ideas. I certainly don't make it a life objective as I have real, and much more consequential priorities in life, but as I make my path through life, they certainly will not stand in my fucking way.

[–]wakingslowdiver 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I don't care that people are bitching about feminism, I bitch about the retardedness of feminists all the time. Most definitely I don't advocate bending over and spreading your anus for extreme feminism.

I care about being shamed for advocating being a selfish bastard. I don't understand how the red pill can basically glorify dark triads while simultaniously preaching about ''morality''?

[–]Endorsed ContributorRed_August5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Ah, yes - I see where you're driving at now. The Red Pill should definitely be treated as an amoral set of results-oriented guidelines, and as an exchange of ideas for their application which evidently spans wide. There are certainly many here who probably wish for a return to the American Leave it to beaver flavour of Patriarchy, or perhaps even a Saudi Arabian-esque model - usually those of the more conservative religious, and traditional cultural backgrounds. This would necessarily require an enforced brotherhood code of ethics through shaming, and coercion as it runs against our natural manly polygamous desires. But we live in societies in which we do sublimate many innate compulsions such as murder, rape, theft, etc. It is achievable, but I digress. The point is that perhaps the "building the better society" elements are better served within other cultural, or religious reddits. It is a mistake to conflate TRP with any form of cultural hegemony.

I fall more within the social libertarian camp in which selfishness is a perfectly reasonable modus operandi - if operated within reasonable boundaries, but I suppose it is agreeing these boundaries that is being debated here. For example, I see no reason to shame someone on TRP for wanting to take another man's wife - it's her fucking decision if she gets hooked at the end. This would run against most brotherhood codes without a doubt, but a more fluid and feral state of affairs actually advantages me. I get why it would irk the brotherhood however, and to each their own. They should get their foot off the shaming pedal somewhat, and try to stick with more core Red Pill tenets instead. What you do with it is your business. TRP is about sexual strategy, this isn't the Puritanism 2.0 Club, and people come from all sorts of places around here, so I'd agree to keep that shit out for the most part. This always happens with new waves of people coming to TRP.

''They should get their foot off the shaming pedal somewhat, and try to stick with more core Red Pill tenets instead. What you do with it is your business. TRP is about sexual strategy, this isn't the Puritanism 2.0 Club''

comrade, you have a way with words. This is precisely my point.

Someone hasn't been here long.

If enough men fix themselves, then we fix the world. We fix the world by fixing ourselves. The system must be changed from within; you won't change the culture by arguing with those who fight to preserve the status quo.

Champions don't focus on winning the championship. They don't focus on beating their competitors. They focus on constant improvement, every single day, to maximize their performance. The results just happen on their own.

That said, if you're going to fuck a married woman, then have the balls to tell her husband that he married a whore. Don't let her get away with being a homewrecker. With great power, there (should) come great responsibility.

[–]brotherjustincrowe4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I've been trying to put my thoughts on this into words but you hit the nail right on the head. Kudos.

TRP is not PUA. Getting laid is not the endpoint of masculinity, it's the beginning. A man is a leader in terms of family, relationship, business, community. It's all well and good to be a regular stop for college girls riding the carousel, but if your sister or cousin gets knocked up and the baby needs a strong male role model in life, you damn well better be able to fill that position.

[–]JackGetsIt1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

if you're going to fuck a married woman, then have the balls to tell her husband that he married a whore.

Not the best idea if he's the twitchy trigger finger jealous type.

[–]Redpillc0re-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

then have the balls to tell her husband that he married a whore

You don't have to do anything. Marriage is a broken concept and you 're not gonna fix it with random acts of heroism like that.

[–]circlhat6 points7 points8 points 11 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

You remind me of feminists/mens rights boohoo the world is not fair. The world isn't fair we all fucking know that.

Which is why its important to vote and change , I not saying we should complain, but getting on city council, going to meeting , changing the world is very possible as feminist.

Mens right has had a lot of success and sets a diaglog that can pull people out of the matrix.

Before Game all I had was mens right because thats the only pill I could stomach, they serve a important purpose and will you don't need to support them, I see no reason not to respect them.

[–]wakingslowdiver 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

''Which is why its important to vote and change''

debatable. all political parties that hold some sort of influence serve the same masters [bankers], and basically only confuse the public with trivial issues. The age old panem et circenses.

''changing the world is very possible as feminist.''

because they were backed by bankers who wanted to tax the other half of the population too.

''they serve a important purpose and will you don't need to support them, I see no reason not to respect them.''

So? what does this have to with r/theredpill? While I don't hate them or disrespect them they have their own place called r/mensrights.

How much does it cost to get elected President of the USA ? Where does this money come from ? Other countries are not much different then USA.

Many large companies like Google, Pepsi, Coke and Banks donate equal amounts to each party. That way which ever parties wins, their interests will be covered.

The ony time there is conflict is when lets say the pork association goes up against the egg producers association. The eggs association lobbies to get legislators to say pork is unhealthy, eggs are good. Or the reverse happens. Or there is big coal up against big oil. Big Oil wins so they pass legislation banned coal mining in certain areas, but it is ok for big oil to dump a zillion tons of oil in the gulf of mexico.

Newsmedia outlets are paid for by advertising. So each news outlet pushes the agenda of their biggest advertisers.

That is why nothing has changed since WW2, except higher taxes for the working class, a lower standard of living, less rights and more immigrants. These things benefit all big corporations.

RP is learning that the system is rigged, and then learning how to use the rigged sytem to yoru advantage.

[–]wakingslowdiver 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

these comments are why I love the red pill. Going from sexual selection to spitting some serious truth about the corruption of politics and the mass media. Just try to explain this to one of my family members or female friends, the struggle is real.

[–]sir_wankalot_here3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sexual strategy, religion, politics and the economy are all linked together. Most people donmt want to know the truth and that is why they become extremely hostile.

With feminists, there are the 98%+ which are clueless sheep. Then there are the 2% which know what is going on and are using it for their own means. You could argue they are RP also 😃 Religous leaders etc are the same thing. So for the 2% if you talk to them, you get hints that it is just a facade.

The BP thing is to try and expose them a hypercrites. Or the RP thing to do is join them. In the past I was the BP idiot.

They say money can't buy happiness, but from personal experience I can tell you it is better to be unhappy with a full pocket of money as opposed to an empty pocket 😃

[–]RPDBF2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I liked your second point about how bankers just wanted to tax the second half of the population. When people complain about stagnet wages and such or a higher minimum wage its because of an oversupply of labor, they go waaaaa fuck the old people who ruined everything they had high wages, yea and they're women stayed home and the supply of labor was half of what it is today.

[–]wakingslowdiver 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes when you think about it, it's so logical and easy to see that I was just baffled by my own earlier ignorance. Tax the second half of the population, drive wages down and make it easier/ cheaper to hire labor. And ofcourse change Colllective Agreements [not sure this is the right English term] to where they aren't even worth the paper they're written on. Worker rights are structurally marginalized because when times are desperate people are pretty much willing to work hard for less.

by the way here is the source for that statement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NN05DHO9bJw

[–]1Dev_on0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

there was a discussion and a few research reports on economics a while back. It turns out that it was a factor, but not a large one, and not even close to the biggest one. Since it increased the productivity, but didn't increase consumption (the 80% of household money spent by women ...)

which should have revolved around increased savings and investment, but instead went the other way, and various efficiency related laws (NAFTA I.E.) and regans union busting largely cause the dismantling of the middle class surplus

yeah, as much as everyone seems to think femenism and women are this powerhouse.... they don't play as big a role as given credit for... it's just the most vocal one

[–]RPDBF1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

True, I didn't mean my statement to be 100% the cause but a contributing factor, thanks for adding details.

[–]1Dev_on0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Just didn't want the IFRS of woman running the economy to be a thing... It's screwed because of deliberate action...

[–]circlhat1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Just recently a high court overturned a procedure that required men to prove they didn't rape women?

Why do you think this happen? Do you think a bunch of gender studies politicians decided to have a fair trial?

No, it was people pushing men's right movement, its very important and has saved many men from a lonely jail cell for something they didn't do.

So? what does this have to with r/theredpill? While I don't hate them or disrespect them they have their own place called r/mensrights.

Agreed, but since TRP has a mensright flair....

[–]magus6782 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I am reminded of the anti-intellectual types who decry spending on science and degrade scientists, while literally standing in the relative opulence they have created.

If you only seek to take value, and never give it, you are a parasite. You take all the work of better men past for granted, as if it was yours by birthright and not by happy chance.

But it is true, this sub is only concerned with the amorality of male sexual strategy. (interestingly enough, it does have quite a bit to say about the morality of women's strategy though)

So my question would be, is there a more appropriate sub already in existence? Does it need to be made? While I admire the raw examination of TRP, adding value to the world is important to me. This sub in general, and this post in particular glorifies a looter mentality I can't get behind, but fighting about is neither constructive nor really even appropriate.

So if there is a more appropriate sub I'm all ears. As much as I like this one I realize that there are a few too many rubs for me.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You misunderstand, a true Red Pill man is a value giver because of his success and self-control. He is able to mete out value as it is earned instead of spewing it uncontrollably all over the place like a supplicating orbiter would. These men give women everything they want instead of what they deserve, which is unjust. These men also hope that women will reciprocate their efforts which does not need to happen - the women already got the value they sought.

Seeing yourself as intellectually and morally superior to others who exceed your success is an excellent coping mechanism for your own failures. The Red Pill however is about recognizing and overcoming personal weakness and failure. It's a more difficult existence to bear but at the very least it is honest. If you wish to find others like you I think the Purple Pill is about this. It's for people who try to go about life the exact same way despite knowing the truth, because there are a "few to many rubs" with reality.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well said. This brand of harshness such as /u/GayLubeOil would speak of is exactly the medicine that many of the sniveling betas that come here need. They think they get it after reading a few posts and then go right on complaining that it's society's problem.

The battle is lost. Big Sister has won and is now seeding academia and the political caste with her drones. It's not just Sweden or the UK: Obama has been spouting the same bullshit and I now hear talk in Ontario of "consent education" in schools. The War on Boys is over and the victors will write about their "progress" in the history books.

So what, then, do you do? You can band together with the "monk mode" men or the MRAs or you can live for yourself in this forsaken world. Contrary to what some might think asceticism will get you nothing and rebellion will get you ostracized. You can however brutally abuse the system for your benefit while avoiding it's common pitfalls.

This is what the Red Pill is for. It's how you get out of the Matrix - joining the Resistance is optional. It lets you see with eyes unclouded the world for what it really is and what you really are to it (hint: cash, meat, or a dick, exclusively). So then what you become is what you've always wanted to be anyways (hint: the dick) without getting shoved into a category.

So not only should you READ but you should also ACT. There's a reason why hitting the gym is mentioned in every single thread. The gym is the seed from which all success grows. It motivates and energizes you and gives you the confidence to take new and better steps forwards until one day you realize that in a single weekend you just turned into the plate-spinning badass you knew you were. That of course is because you took action instead of staying in and complaining on The Red Pill trying to come up with ways to change society in order to get what you want, which is sex and companionship with women. Wouldn't it just be easier to go for the latter? That's right, it is.

[–]Endorsed ContributorBluepillProfessor2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

While I agree that societal benefit is a terrible gage for individual behavior and is NOT Red Pill, I still must say screw OP. The Red Pill IS the solution for the problems of society. An Awakening is happening right now and attitudes like OP are standing in the way.

From the spark shall come the flame and it shall consume the world.

[–]Redpillc0re1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Everyone here is adamant that TRP is not political, moral etc. then go ahead to make exactly moral and even political statements. "Go for plates" is a moral statement, "don't marry" is even a political one. These things are interrelated, and if people here consider themselves against the feminist moral standards and feminist politics, then they 're taking a specific moral and political stance. Talking about ideas which can affect our lives is the root of politics.

[–]stickfiguresk11 points12 points13 points 11 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

The 'fighters' and... really, anybody that 'debates' in the purple pill is just masturbating. You guys are guilty of the same circle-jerk ego-investment(that Rollo talks a lot about) as the feminist SJWs. Do not engage. And if you feel like you need to debate, then you need to reflect on why you feel that need. Consider this another lesson in self improvement.

Consider this: can you find ONE grande debate on youtube where a participant changes his/her mind? The answer is "no" because they're just masturbating in front of each other, as the spectators are masturbating their egos in the crowd.

[–]circlhat5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

because they're just masturbating in front of each other, as the spectators are masturbating their egos in the crowd.

I have convince people, if you are doing it right you can alter the course of a young boys life and place seeds of doubt in his head about feminism.

It only takes exposing one lie to get someone to start their path of truth.

You are correct I can't change anyone's mind, but I can plant seeds.

[–]wakingslowdiver 5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You are free to spend your time as you please. Just don't try to shame me because I am focusing on myself and not joining your fight.

[–]Elodrian0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think you misunderstand the purpose of the "grande debate". I'm going to butcher some dialogue from Thank You For Smoking here:

I don't need to prove my case. I disproved your case, which makes me right by default.

But you haven't convinced me!

I'm not trying to convince you, I'm trying to convince them.

[–]sir_wankalot_here0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It is masturbation, but it can be useful masturbation. Debate with different groups for the purposes of seeing how their mental process works. So by debating it will reveal the other person's mental process or hamster.

Because war reparations from the first were so bad that they had to wheelbarrow money to buy bread... The former gov would hyper inflate the currency.

There way more to it than that, but im not an expert, luckily neither are you

[–]Dokkobro0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Everything Stumbles047 is saying is true. It just doesn't fit with your perception of Hitler so you're resisting the hard facts he's presenting. I despise everything about Hitler, but I'm extremely familiar with German military history as well as WWII, and he's exactly spot on. The Holocaust was horrible, but Stalin killed more people, Hitler is only seen notoriously, and Stalin is praised in the history books. The fact of the matter is that our history books are HEAVILY biased in the US, and you have to look at history subjectively and philosophically. Of course our government in America is going to want the people to think we fought an evil monster and not someone with any real structure of thought. Lol. That's the history of war.

[–]1Dev_on0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

so you're saying WW1 reparations his promise to improve the economy, scapegoating parts of the population to placate the germans, the catholic mindfuck of his generation, none of this was a factor right?

hell he even deleted his comments, so I can't go back and see.

[–]smokingmonkey420 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

TRP is about accepting reality for what it is. It's not about changing society or "manning up." The concepts discussed here are clear and concrete. AWALT. Don't get married. Focus on yourself.

Seriously, stop fighting it and just accept it for what it is. Then you get to be yourself and just have fun.

[–]wakingslowdiver 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

the way I see it.

some people however want to make this a mens rights 2.0

[–]nohangingout 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is one thing I think MGTOW and TRP definitely have in common. All that time and energy people waste trying to reform a dead and decaying society can be used to improve yourself, and leave the turds to rot in their own filth.

[–]dicklord_airplane2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

i pity everyone who clings to the idea that everything will be wonderful once we "tear down toxic gender roles and gender stereotypes" or whatever the men's rights dudes and SJW's are saying these days. they all believe that men will begin to like fat, manly women and that women will begin to like passive, bitchy milquetoast men once the revolution finally comes because those are just "social constructs. it won't, and they aren't. human nature is the same as it ever was, so it's best to accept it and plan your life accordingly.

[–]scamper_22 4 points4 points4 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I understand all this, but this defeatist talk is sickening, especially when it comes from people who sit around talking about being ALPHA. I don't know if this is some kind of first world problem, because I don't understand it.

Sure, don't care about society at all. You will in the end be far worse off. Have you ever lived in a collapsed society? You have to give a shit. You have to talk about morality. Every other group doesn't stop moralizing and preaching. You want surrender to them?

As an ex-Muslim, this really annoys me. Oh yes, the world isn't fair. It is not boo-hooing. It is something called morality and action. You darn right, I have confronted my family and fought those social battles. My kids will not live that life.

It's the complete opposite of being a man or alpha to not think you can/should control the world (well your part of it anyways). And unless you live in the mountains in a non-state, it is a part of your world. Are you reducing yourself to a mere sexual strategy living like a chimpanzee?

Yes, sexual selection is not about morality. You should not treat someone bsaed on what they should be, but based on how they are. You won't get any disagreement on that one. That pretty much applies to every part of life.

But, this extends much further than mere sexual strategy. If you don't see how all this is tied together (sexual strategy, the family, politics, men...) and you have chosen to surrender it all in favor of getting some pussy and having fun, then by all means keep it up. But don't pretend you're somehow enlightened or something. You've given up and just wanna have fun.

In any case: Yes, the world is not fair. Yes, you should act in your own life knowing it is currently stacked against you and make the most of it Yes, social change takes generations, so there is little hope of the world being fair in our time

But no, you should never be silent or surrender. Your life can still get much much much more worse if you leave the political/social system to others. Of course know when and how to argue and when to just walk away and go about your business. That is a challenge of course and it should not come from a need of validation. But that is another discussion.

Probably the biggest victory of women has been to completely cut the balls of men. And this is basically. what you have done to yourself.

[–]wakingslowdiver 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

I give a shit I just don't see myself fixing it. You think I am happy that the western world is in a decline and the future of our kids/nephews is in the shitter, think again mate, I am not pleased at all. I wish the world was a nice rosy place. BUT WISHING IT DOESN'T MAKE IT SO.

''and you have chosen to surrender it all in favor of getting some pussy and having fun, then by all means keep it up. But don't pretend you're somehow enlightened or something. You've given up and just wanna have fun.''

This is true. I have given up the completely deluded idea that I have some form of influence in a world of 6 billion people. You can't change the tide of the sea by swimming really really hard in the other direction. Some things are beyond me as individual.

Call me cynical bitter shame me all you want, I am solely gonna focus on myself. It's not my responsibility to fix the mess that corrupt politicians, usefull idiots and others have made. Let it burn.

I have nothing against people for giving up and just living their life. I really don't. Heck, people often accuse me of it. In the sense that I am not trying to change my religion and I've given up on it and just moved on. I can see the social value in transforming it and I know there are people doing it, it is just not for me. I don't have the time of day. I can't deal with that level of lying. I'm not that skilled nor that manipulative.

But I certainly wouldn't hate on someone who is trying to change it especially if they can do it honestly. Heck, even if they're lying through their teeth, there is some need for it. Heck, half the time I've given up on political change. Kudos for those who try though and can play that game.

And you might not have influence over 6 billion people. But you do have influence over the people in your life; friends/family.

But let's remember who pulled the first shot here :P There is a post hating on those trying to change the society for the better.

Dude things are pretty much the same everywhere. Move to a place where the cost of living is cheaper and the average IQ is lower. That way relatively speaking you will be more intelligent 😃

There was a time I was thinking about Canada or Australia, because language. Then I started reading about the BP laws they are passing ... seems like it's maybe even worse there. The US at least has a little bit of a libertarian streak to work with.

[–]MuzakNinja 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Please in the name of zeus's butthole stop trying to change society.

I'm a part of society. By changing myself, I change society. Self-improvement is one of TRP's goals, therefor we are actively trying to improve society.

If someone starts talking about morality and about the way the world SHOULD be, there is no point arguing with him.

There's also no point in associating with someone who strips himself of his humanity and sense of right and wrong. If you want to be an animal, you shall be treated as such.

It doesn't fucking matter how the world SHOULD be, it matters how the world works. Adapt and thrive.

It is no good measure of health to be well-adapted to a profoundly sick society. How "alpha" can you be when you abandon yourself to follow the herd?

You remind me of feminists/mens rights boohoo the world is not fair. The world isn't fair we all fucking know that. We are trying to get by in a world that's not fair. Stop morality trolling, sexual selection is AMORAL.

Selection/attraction may be amoral, but how you react to that attraction is not. Being a man/leader/alpha means setting an example.

In addition read the sidebar some more before you cunts feel the need to share your verbal diarrhea.

Maybe after you evolve enough to crawl out of the primordial muck with some semblance of higher consciousness.

[–]1Dev_on1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

anyone here who uses 'should/shouldn't' clearly hasn't been reading the sidebar.

you got to be pragmatic, not idealistic.

[–]vicious_armbar1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So instead we should passively bend over and grab our ankles while the feminazi's anally rape us with: unreasonable consent laws, university kangaroo courts, lack of reproductive rights, unreasonable child support obligations, etc?

You can call that type passive pussy boy behavior a lot of things: cowardice, learned helplessness, or laziness to name just a few. But don't call it redpill or alpha. Because it's not.

An alpha looks out for himself first. Both longterm and short term. If outsiders fuck with him or his clan; then he fucks with those outsiders. I don't know how being a passive faggot while you're under attack somehow became associated with redpill!

Do what you can to try and thrive in the current circumstances [short term strategy]; and do what you can to try and make the long term circumstances more favorable to yourself.

New Red Pill Sidebar Description: The red pill is about adapting and thriving in a world that is hostile towards men. We discuss sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men. Red pill believes sexual strategy to be amoral. Read the sidebar in its entirety and lurk extensively before jumping in. Welcome to the rabbit hole, just remember, we offer truth and nothing more.

"The red pill is about adapting and thriving in a world that is hostile towards men."

No more no less. It's about knowing what reality is and how you adapt to it and not about how you can change society and correct it's BP ways. It is one of the problems I have had here with some posts. Stop with the whinging, accept reality for what it is and use it to your advantage.

[–]1User-31f64a4e3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This.

TRP is about education - explaining how the world works in the light of male and female nature, and how to adapt and thrive in that reality on a personal level.

It isn't that much of a surprise that newer members would get upset about female nature, and have an activist take on the worst aspects of reality that they (now) know about. A lot of posts address new changes in society, or ones that are still in the pipeline. Throwing the collective male weight against some new excess actually can matter, so it is not surprising that there is an urge to advocate resistance.

Alas, that is probably for /r/mensrights or some other forum.

[–]RPDBF1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Exactly, and then these dudes are like but aren't we men shouldn't we lead? Yea but society isn't gonna listen to RP until it collapses on itself from it feminist ways. When that happens then we lead for now enjoy the decline. Example, a lot of men don't even start listening to this sub until a divorce or bad breakup and you want to use logic to get society to shift to RP thinking? It'll never happen.

[–]1User-31f64a4e0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't know if it will or it won't. I used to.

I guess this is the place to figure out how to deal with the here and now of it. Shifting society might also be of interest as well, but that's for other venues.

It's not necessarily either/or - it's that each has different times and places.

[–]_valtiel_ 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Don't try to run for office bro, just be another cog in the system bro, just adapt to the system rather than making the system adapt to you bro. Read the sidebar, bro.

Concern trolling is against the rules.

[–]AgentSmith270 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

My opinion of this sub is that there are quite a few people who try to push an anti-feminism agenda... just like there are people trying to push a feminism agenda.

The fact of the matter is that most regular/normal people aren't trying to make any agenda happen. They are just trying to get through the day. Of course, the problem is that most of us are influenced by people pushing an agenda at one time or another.

The goal for everyone with a brain should be to NOT follow the hive mind, but to form their own thoughts and opinions. You can listen to other people and consider what they say, but always try to think about things logically and impartially. It is OK to have your own opinion.

So people in this sub, and all the other subs, will try to tell you what you should think... but there has to be a very thick barrier between their thoughts and your thoughts. Filter out the bullshit, think for yourself, and do what you want to do.

[–]Redpillc0re0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Ironic how you're preaching against preachers, yet you re still telling others what to do.

It's OK to have an opinion, also OK not to. It's not impossible to change things, but you 're not going to do that with words.

At some point you get tired of "adapt and thrive". It's a strategy of turning to a robot. Its just not satisfying to go wherever the wind goes.

[–]qdegtjul 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Firstly, I believe you or someone else posted pretty much this same shitpost a while ago.

Secondly, your problem lies in thinking

Feminism has won

It hasn't. It can't. Because feminism is a revolution, not a cause, and if it wins it won't exist anymore and they'll have nothing to bitch about (and they'll have to find jobs). They have to demand changes even if they live in a feminist utopia.

And while I agree this isn't a social change forum, it does have a men's rights post flair and that shit is probably there for a reason so your attempt to change this subreddit instead of adapting is not welcome.

[–]wakingslowdiver 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Please enlighten me about how feminism hasn't won.

Kangeroo family courts, biased rape laws, birth control, abortion, 60 percent females in college, biased education systems, special pussy passes for nice government jobs, how exactly has feminism failed??

[–]qdegtjul 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Because none of that was their main goal.

They win when they achieve their main goal, that's why they don't want one. They want the revolution to go on indefinitely so they have their supporters that buy their books, vote their way and pay for their youtube videos.

[–]wakingslowdiver 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

shit dude you schooled me. You won't find me disagreeing with that. Cold hard cash it what drives them.

[–]caveboy771 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It could always get worse. Bitching at guys who want to try to make a difference like you're superior doesn't help anything and is pretty stupid.

[–]Karol7541 point 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

People that de motivate others from fighting for change and progress are just as bad as the ones we need change from.

[–]Aiadon-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why not try to change it since it was unbalanced by irresponsible histrionic lowlifes who hate us? You do whatever you want but I will assert my rights each chance I give myself.
