Of all the accusations that can be thrown against a person, the strangest by far is devil worship. Why would anybody worship the devil? A good bad guy to rally behind is one that's gonna have a deep and interesting backstory, or a brilliant anti-hero. A lousy guy to rally behind is someone who's bad just because he's bad or has some generic excuse. The devil's not a guy to rally for. He's the most notable character ever who was bad just for the sake of it. There's really no reason to worship him. There's absolutely no reason at all.

Accusing someone of being a devil worshipper is saying a lot more than that the person in question is wrong. The accusation is that the worshipper is not only incorrect, but already knows it so well that there's actually no disagreement between the two of you. If they read their books then they know the devil's not the hero. It's common sense. The person's making a deliberate and conscious choice between righteousness and fuckery and they choose fuckery.

The devil doesn't even have anything to offer them. Devil worshippers don't get to go to a fiery heaven. They go to hell. Even a slave owner has an understandable interest in free labor, but the devil worshipper is just a monster. He isn't motivated by anything worthwhile, just his evilness. When crusading against a devil worshipper, you're no longer just arguing a viewpoint. True or false isn't at stake here. What's at stake is good or evil. Your views are no longer right or wrong, but morally required. In our increasingly irreligious world, hardly anybody accuses the other side of worshipping the actual devil anymore but that doesn't mean that the accusation ever went away. It changed form.

Recall what the world has to say about us: Feminists make it out like we secretly agree with them that women are like men rather than how we say they are. Blue pillers portray the red pill as men who don't even seem to want sex, relationships, or even happiness. All we want is to hate women with likeminded misogynists. We're racist too, against women. In fact, we hate women so much that we will act autistically enough to isolate ourselves from them, lose all of our friends, and be miserable, single, lonely, and hateful forever. It's what we've chosen because we're not rational. They ask "Why don't red pillers just turn gay?" You'd think that they'd critically wonder about the answer to that question and improve their understanding of the red pill, but they won't. They already have their answer: We worship the devil.

Never forget that one of the key reasons that you're here is because you did not name other people as devil worshippers. You came to the red pill thinking "There's no way that these guys actually worship the devil. What are they really doing?" That intellectual curiosity is one of the cornerstones which makes our community run. When a woman fucks an alpha instead of a Nice Guy™, the beta doesn't ask what he's doing wrong. He figures that she's just confused or doesn't know what she wants. In other words, he thinks she worships the devil. A red piller looks at the situation and realizes that she gets fantastic alpha sex and an absurd amount of beta provisioning. She's not worshipping the devil, she's downright rational.

What we do instead is ask "What goes through a reasonable person's head when they believe these things?" If you come up with how the premises that are available to the person in question can reasonably amount to their conclusion then you might be on to something. If you can come up with how it's advantageous of them to act on a certain belief then you may also be doing well. But, if the answer you come up with relies on militant stupidity or just plain wickedness, then you're accusing the other side of worshipping the devil.

No part of the red pill presumes the existence of devil worship. Irrational hatred is not the reason that men are disposable. We're reproductively abundant and economics runs its course. The reason that women lack empathy is not that they're evil. It's because if they remain loyal to their husband who died in struggle, then they wouldn't pass their traits. Mothers don't teach their sons to be weak because the devil told them to. Women's hypergamous nature prevented them from ever knowing what weak men look like or how a weak man's life goes. Betas don't fall for the blue pill because they're stupid. They do it for the same reasons that a lot of us once did. Everyone in the red pill playbook is acting either reasonably based on the premises available to them or strategically to achieve their goals.

Even feminism, the antagonist of the red pill story, is not devil worship. In our sidebar, pk_atheist brilliantly dubbed it a sexual strategy, just like what we do at the red pill. He even calls it a good one. The red pill is cynical enough to disbelieve that ethics and justice for everyone runs the world, but we don't chalk things up to devil worship either. The other side isn't stupid; they just have different goals than we do and they pursue them in a self-interested way. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. At worst, it's a call to arms for us to individually fight for our own happiness. The game is hard, but it's very winnable.

Even people calling you a devil worshipper are not themselves devil worshippers. If your side has enough power then there is sound strategy in deciding who worships the devil and who doesn't. Every single one of us though, needs to take caution. As men, we do not have the societal power to say who worships the devil and who does not. As red pillers, we do not have the ideological power to say who worships the devil and who does not. We have the power to keep out wits about us, to faithfully interpret our world, and change ourselves based on the information that we discover. You can win based off just that, but only if you keep refusing to believe in devil worship and keep trying to do better.
