There's a lot of talk in TRP about 'The Wall'. It seems to be generally accepted that a women approaches the wall when she is reachinng her late 20's.

I'm single, in my early 40's and have noticed a very strong trend for many women to still not be hitting the wall, in terms of their perceived sexual value, until their 40's.

I'd suggest instead that there are two walls: one when women are looking to get married and have kids, in their late 20's, and another after they've grown bored of Mr Beta Bux husband and decided to branch swing, but before they lose their remaining looks and femininity to menopause. This, from my experience, usually occurs in their 40's.

There are a variety of cultural issues that contribute to this;

  1. Younger men, particularly betas neglected by attractive women in their own age group, are so thirsty for poon they will stick their dick into a swarming beehive if it gets them off. This has and will always be.

  2. There's a view in the west (somewhat justified) that older women are less choosy and easier to pick up - this is like catnip to guys who don't want to put in much effort or who can't get it elsewhere.

  3. Internet dating. This is the big one. Every woman I've talked to in her 40's, who is reasonably attractive for her age, can rapidly acquire hundreds or thousands of offers on Tinder and such, due to 1. and 2. It's exactly the same conditions that lead to 4's or 5's in their 20's to perceive their value to be much higher than it is.

  4. This one has been the case for a while, but is amplified by 3. Lots of newly divorced women in their 40's - been with Mr Beta Boring (in their mind that is, classic branch swinging) for the last 15-20 years. They are suddenly single, lots of younger men messaging, so them the hamster tells them "I must be special/beautiful/high value" rather then the reality "I'm perceived as an easy masturbation surrogate".

Basically, the upshot is that these things - 'no-cost' internet dating, the perception that older women are easy, sudden re-introduction to single life - has extended the wall until at least the mid-40s for many women.

Note that this is not a whinge, just an observation of current trends. If you are in your 20's and are seeing women your age approach the wall, it could be useful information for your future strategy to recognise that there is a second 'high-SMV rebirth' and a second wall for women in their 40's.
