I have decided to post here as I feel I have similar goals to most people here and I believe that some of you started out in a situation similar to mine.

About 3 months ago I developed severe depression. Lack of energy, ambition and goals. Nothing I tried really helped even though I believe I wanted to and tried to help my situation to the best of my ability. I've been taking care of myself better than I ever have in my life hygiene and fashion wise. I've attempted to start lifting weights but I don't have a clue what I'm doing.

My depression started over a girl. Pathetic right? and due to my inexperience I latched onto her pretty quick. I bought her things, spent time with her, did favours for her, etc. I didn't mind doing it because she was attractive and I hoped maybe she would see how nice I was and sex my virgin ass. But it doesn't work that way, does it? so I crawled onto reddit looking for advice, guidence, anything. I stumbled across theredpill in my search. I was a little confused to the point of the subreddit at first. "These guys just sit here and make fun of women all day? Ha! what a bunch of losers!" Then I started to read. Things I had been thinking for a long time "clicked". You guys are not blind to how women really are. Thanks to theredpill I found out what the core of my depression is.

I am depressed because

  • I am unattractive to girls. (very ugly face, skinny, no "game")
  • My social circle is small
  • I am unsuccessful and unable to even get a part time job.
  • I'm not fucking hot girls
  • I get oneites very easy.
  • I over think my interactions with girls. Getting my hopes up that they "like" me

My who life I have just kind of allowed my self to be picked on, walked over and treated like shit. Men don't respect me, Women don't like me. I'm ready to change. I want to change. Give me the advice I need to hear, Stalk my post history, Tell my how to improve my life. What are the first steps? What are the first thoughts? The first (very small) steps into this unfamiliar lifestyle?
