When I'm in a conversation with someone, I think logically. I used to communicate by spelling out this logical thought process. However, I've found that when talking to people, by using emotional key words (such as in the video) I can elicit a 1000x stronger emotional response than using a logical argument, and I have a much better chance of getting what I want from the situation.

I would say it's horrible to teach kids this, because then their entire way of interacting with the world is through emotion. However, it's profoundly effective. It's really only something you should use when you have a strong frame and understanding of its effect. Usually, when talking to women I use more emotional key words and tone down the logic. And with men, I'm more logical but include some emotional words.

I've had it used against me, and it's horrible. I had cancer, and was at a very vulnerable place. In arguments with my ex-girlfriend, she would use emotional key words that would basically destroy me, when logical words could have gotten the same point across. I think it was a power thing.

So my question for the OP is: what would you suggest? Should we use these powerful emotional trigger words, or refrain from them? How do you feel about my push-pull method of using logic at the right time, and emotion at the right time?

I posted that vid to /r/anarcho_capitalism, and I concur -- it is very much red pill to see the truth of how people are farmed.

If you, the ruler, wanted your future peasant to become an emotionally-dependent, conformist, irrational and manipulable adult, whom you can easily control thru fear and anguish, without a possibility of protecting himself/herself thru critical thinking... What would you do?

You would force him into a process, where you wouldn't teach the kid logic and epistemology --- you'd teach them to bypass all that and only bellyfeel / elicit bellyfeel in others. Whenever the kid used his logical brain to deduce that you are full of shit, you'd manipulate him through shame, and tests where you make him repeat things he doesn't believe, and threats of punishment, of course.

Not surprising that the vast majority of people can't actually think. In most people, you push a certain set of governments programmed buttons and they do what you want.

And people act baffled, as if no one knows why people act the way they do -- the institutions that venalize and imbecilize people are right in front of their faces.

I have so much so say about this, I could write a whole paper on the subject: using logic and emotion in persuasive argument, the connotation of words, meaning vs feeling, Captain Kirk and Mister Spock. I just might, someday.

But for now, I'll only say this:

"With great power comes great responsibility." Teaching children to use these effective tools in itself is a good thing, but without a strong moral base (not to mention a sound logical framework) to guide one's actions, we are setting up students to progress any ol' cause they might happen to be interested in, including dangerous ones like Feminism.

Take the "social" stuff and all the "social advocacy" bullshit out of the book.

And this is like teaching rhetoric to kids. Classical education style of teaching useful things to you when you're young. I think this is a good think because it teaches how you can use language to your advantage. Perhaps the subject of the book is wrong but it isn't indoctrination in a bad way.

I don't care for the assessment book at the end of the video in how it describes grading the students based on their attitudes. That is indoctrination in a bad way.

The amazing thing here is not that there is indoctrination and manipulation going on in the book; it's that these books teach how to indoctrinate others and manipulate others!

It's Game for kids!

Sure there's a superficial "social" bent to it, but what we're shown is

how to connect with others on an emotional level
how to choose your words to build rapport

Fuck! I wish someone had taught me that in 1st grade!
