yes, the girl is a piece of shit for instigating a fight. and yes, her friend (Pollard) is a a piece of shit white knight for starting that fight

but the killer (Dickson) doesn't seem like a white knight. he seems like a psychopath that enjoys harming others. choked this kid to death, kicked him in the head after killing him, and showed no remorse in court. also didn't even really seem connected to Lemare; just came along in case there was blood. also had a previous 6 year prison term for shooting someone in the face with a bb gun

Something is fishy here. It sounds like choking, not strangling. Strangulation cuts off the blood supply, and you take a nap in about 3 to 5 seconds.
