Equal is a nonsense, meaningless term that defies definition beyond any feel-good connotation.

Women can make babies, we can't. Does that make us inferior?

Well, for starters, women simply aren't equal to men.

For example, even though the average IQ are the same, the variation amongst men is higher so that, at IQ 125, there are 3 times as many men as women, and at IQ 170 there are 30 times as many. That has far reaching ramifications as to how you might organise a society that leverages the abilities of its members most effectively.

For most of human history, female survival required getting men to work for women. This requires a certain cunning that may not show up in IQ tests. What it does though is put evolutionary pressure on men to be stronger and smarter and more capable. It also puts evolutionary pressure on women to become better at getting men to work for them.

In my opinion, women are not equal to men - men are better, because of the harsh evolutionary pressure we face. Men still do nearly all the difficult work required for running civilisation - take a look at the gender splits in essential services - its all men.

Women are a bit like spoiled rich kids that don't have to work. Those kids mostly crash and burn, while the kids who overcome adversity all their lives get stronger and thrive.

Here's how a red-piller can tell you aren't from around here: you made a statement of the form "I believe that __ should be __".

We are interested in uncovering truth about the way people think.

What each of us does, is take an idea about how a person's mind works (a hypothesis), and check whether it fits their behaviour. If it doesn't fit, we reject that idea.

We keep doing this until we have a reasonably reliable picture of their desires and motivations. (You might recognize this method?)

We notice that most people selectively report, or refrain from reporting events, depending on what's convenient for them. (The available information suffers from a selection bias.)

We feel the need to compensate by reporting a lot of bad behaviour seen in women. (Yes, that's another selection bias. We know.)

TRP is a collection of hypotheses about the way people (particularly women) function, that we personally test against our own observations of the world, and that we recommend as probably true because they survive this process of elimination with astonishing regularity.

To put it another way, our ideas have predictive power, i.e. we say things like "If you do X, you can expect a woman to react by doing Y".

There isn't really room for personal beliefs in there. The only good reason to think something, in our opinions, is if you've seen evidence for it.

So any ideas you have about the way the world should be, are irrelevant here. You can believe them if you really want to. I'm just telling you it's probably more useful to try to understand how things really are.

This board, despite what you may see sometimes from users that are new and in the anger stage (they found this place because they were probably fucked over or sensed something deeply wrong), most of the sub doesn't believe in equality as a concept on the whole. It is not about taking a stance, but rather we don't even operate on that useless paradigm.

As redpillschool has pointed out, it is a meaningless term that signifies an impossible ideal that goes against all of our biology and common sense.

Equality is what you've been brain washed to believe in, to view everything through a lens of equality.

If a man attacks you, is it easier to kill him or easier to restrain him? It is easier to kill him. Restraining someone means you must be above their strength and skill to control them. My point is, similarly, equality is much like that. It is only possible in highly developed countries where bureaucracy and social conditioning can strong arm the natural flow of life to be anything else than what it is.

Equality is not and never has been about equal social rights. If it was, it would have ended at the first wave of feminism. Ask yourself, why is it that the people most concerned with social injustice, IE: the supposed, "oppression of women", are always people who stand to benefit from the fruits of their labor? Everything you see is a power play, nothing more. Equality is a fine line walked, a tight rope balancing act that must be rigidly managed to even be remotely possible.

You don't believe women should get special privileges because of gender, yet that is exactly what they get and more from feminism. There is simply no one more privileged in the west than women, and that is spreading fast to other countries.

You only believe that this sub is against women because it actively avoids kissing ass in any manner, whether it be in topics, language, or beliefs.

I don't personally believe the majority of TRP believes in a revocation of women's rights, we only understand better than most that making peace with and understanding the differences between men and women, the REAL ones, not the bullshit ones, creates a better life for everyone. Men have completely different skill sets than women, and society would have you believe other wise. It becomes problematic when you have to walk on eggshells in public and watch what you say, and in many cases lose out on many opportunities to women simply because they are women, and even more frustratingly they are not nearly as qualified as the men, and don't even care about the work as much. As if that wasn't bad enough, women have the nerve to come back around and say it isn't enough, that they are still oppressed and lack opportunities or get paid less.

So what is equality? Certainly women aren't equal. They have the advantage in court, the public space, in school and work (as both of these are increasingly feminized, meaning that the definition of success is one that favors a feminine skill set like sitting in an office for 8 hours or rote memorization instead of creative problem solving). Whenever there is a space that favors a male skillset like engineering or programming, it naturally accumulates a male population, which consequently that sector gets accused of misogyny for lacking female presence.

The issue is that women are just plain spoiled by society. They have an imaginary concept of what the average mans life is like, and because of that believe that they are somehow getting lesser. They honestly think that the average man has the life of a top 10% man in terms of income opportunity and sexual freedom.

All I can say is, ask yourself: if everything about being masculine is labelled as misogyny and "bad", then why the fuck is everything that a woman does to be "strong" and independent basically a desire to adopt masculine qualities? We live in a world now of masculine women and an ever growing population of pussy boys.

A man who exerts his masculinity naturally is toxic, and a woman who adopts masculine qualities is strong and independent. It's the most feel good bullshit out there.

All "men" (meaning people) are created equal. Declaration of Independence. It does not mean you will stay that way. Entitlement is a forced attempt to stack the decks. If you are female and say Native American, you can get a ton of financial help from the SBA to start a business. If you are a Hispanic male, and a citizen, you don't get shit. Get it, you don't get shit. Entitlement is the fuck-stick to most of us on Red Pill. We don't get shit. No safety nets here. Nothing. Nothing. So how does this even add up to equality?

Well, it means you were born equal, but based on the cards that are dealt you early on, things do change. Your shit-fathers genetics may haunt you and you end up in prison. Could be your mothers. You could be lazy. Etc. etc.. but remember this, that's where really being equal ends. Life's journey can and should be rather a bitch. for everyone. but it will be easier for some, much harder for others. Most others really. If you don't believe this, look at the standard of living and compare it across the world population. Our troubles dealing with this Reddit issue of equality pale in comparison to what is really real life out there. But Red Pill teachings of being a man, taking responsibility, and kicking ass are standards that every man on this planet could stand to consider, and by chance improve. But true equality? Shit, that is dictated. Right now in America, we are on the wrong track. That's why some of us are here. To learn to be better and more like the men we wish to actualize to. Fuck that leaving it to someone else to determine my equality. I'm responsible for my equality. If I see myself as not equal, I must train my mind, body and voice to improve myself and improve my cause.

It is staggeringly unlikely that two different genders with very different strengths and behaviours can be in any way "equal".

"Equality" is a term used by women, for women. It is exclusively applied to women, never to men. Women use it to dismantle the patriarchy and to demand ever more from men. Men cannot use it to get anything from women (try it one day if you want to find this out).

Women and feminists use "equality" and pretend they mean "equality of opportunity". Men nod and say sure, sounds fair. Women then get equality of outcome for inequality of effort and talent, ie affirmative action. And then women believe they are equal, yet somehow victimised.

"I am the equal of any man!" they shout, but always demand protection, alimony, subsidy, affirmative action, government payouts and recognition/awards for the smallest of achievements and men to throw themselves at her regardless of merit.

It's harder to be male than female because as well as a job and a career, we have to be better than these subsidised women before they'll date us, and we are also the provider and the supporter, never the other way around.

So we have to out-compete women in the workplace (despite affirmative action, subsidies and special treatment) in order to date them (women do not date down). Then when we do date them, we're putting more in than they are. They are a net cost to us... but for them dating is a net gain (they don't pay, they do get support and help with everything). And despite this net cost, we still have to get up the next day and out-perform them at work.

So where's my equality?

Speaking for myself (not for the whole subreddit), I'd sum it up for you like this:

I recognize that women SHOULD be given free passes and coddled.
I recognize that men ARE the more disposable gender.
I recognize that women CANNOT be expected to act responsibly (like men are expected to).
I recognize that women DO naturally fall in line, when provided with strong male leadership.

You can easily observe that there is no equality in the real world, which means race, gender, financial, physical, etc. Believing in it strongly is, by definition, self-delusion.

This could cause some serious mental strife for you, if taken to heart. Fortunately, your stated strongly held beliefs are not really yours. They are good old Marxist ideology. Sometimes when a woman tells me she's a feminist, I snuggle her to me and protest: "No you're not! Absolutely not, you are a GOOD PERSON!". If you ever try this on others or even on yourself, you will see that somehow the Marxist ideology has sprouted some tentacles that have connected it to your inner idea of being a good person. You believe in being good, so you think these Marxist ideas are what you should nourish yourself with. False! You are a good person to me, without any Marxist ideology.

I've always considered myself Egalitarian, which means a nominal equality of rights and opportunities, as opposed to equalitarian, which has come to mean forcing equality of outcomes. This outlook has become more nuanced with age and experience.

Equality as a philosophy or goal has not proven as useful or practical as I once imagined it. The ideas of Complementary pairs and Synergy became much more useful. Ruminate on those a while.

What you advocate for is not equality, but meritocracy. Most well adjusted TRP participants are strong supporters of meritocracy.

Think about it, given all of the participants, what's the likelihood that all, or even most, are going to have equal capacity? More likely, you have a lot of different people who have different strengths and weaknesses achieving different results. That's simple reality. However, what we are confronted with is a societal mentality that automatically equates any difference of achievement as necessarily unfair. If a protected class is on the wrong side of that balance it automatically becomes a bigoted, orchestrated act of oppression.

Add to that environmental preferences. Many in society believe that if you are the lone representative of your class of people you are automatically in a hostile environment. Or, if the social aspect operates along norms that are not your norms, many automatically say you are subject to prejudice. How would you even fix these issues through mandates that didn't automatically cut against the majority for the exact reasons the mandates were meant to prevent?

This is the "equality" that so many here oppose.
