Why You Must Pay

When I was young, there was a pattern I noticed and the lesson has stuck with me ever since. My parents bought my older brother a car-He crashed it. They got him another one-he crashed that one, rinse and repeat; it was similar with my sister and not just with cars, but clothing, toys, and electronics. One summer I worked a job for my uncle so I could buy some books and Pokémon games; I treasured the things I worked for. To this day I still have the books I bought when I was a teen and even a good pair of redwing’s boots, I bought 15 years ago. There is something about paying for your property that changes how much you value it. Then I realized why my siblings despite having nicer things treated all their possessions like crap. It’s because it cost them nothing.

I am not immune to this truth. A friend of mine plays a lot of Death Metal and had a lot of instruments, I once asked him to lend me a guitar so I could try it out– I let it gather dust. In the future I bought my own guitar and suddenly I practiced religiously. I have downloaded many free eBooks and… haven’t read them; But the books I buy, I read voraciously and quickly. I know the lesson and I rationalize that I should value the free stuff just as much as what I pay for, but I don’t.

This lesson doesn’t just apply to cars and property, but to knowledge, life lessons and the Redpill itself.

The Red Pill Isn’t Free

Being an Alpha Bunny and searching for truth, I’ve dug quite a few rabbit holes and sifted through much debris. And let me tell you, not all that glitters is gold.  This sub is full of knowledge and wisdom, but most of it is useless to the lot of you for several reasons. It has nothing to do with lack of intelligence, but experience. It’s like listening to love songs when you are a kid; sure, you understand the words that are being sung, and even a bit of the relationship drama, but you don’t truly get it, at least not yet. It’s the same with proverbs like “there are plenty of fish in the sea.” while true, I could not appreciate the wisdom of these sayings until I had paid the price in both time, experience and heartbreak. Even though I have tried, I run into the same problem when trying to pass on practical wisdom to others. The problem is that they will never value it, because it came for free, without the prerequisite pain. It’s like finding gold ore. Most wont recognize its value, and even those that find gold must still refine it.

The Stages of Red Pill Grief

Refinement in the redpill looks similar to the stages of grief.

Denial: People in this stage are easy to spot, they are still blue pilled, and gasp at the mere mention that "milady" is not the fairest maiden in all the land or that female nature is not sugar, spice and everything nice. To them “hypergamy” is a bad word.
The Anger part is where most guys first come the forums. Typically, they had a rude reality check, and their post usually say things like " women aint shit" or some variation.
Bargaining is purple pilled dudes who realize things aren’t what they thought but still trying to live their trad dream with redpill knowledge but not making the shift; Think Cypher wanting to get plugged back into the matrix.
The Depression phase is guys that are black pilled or MGTOW's, who decided " the juice is not worth the squeeze." It’s one thing to pass through that stage, it’s another to make an identity of it.
Finally there is Acceptance. the guys that reach acceptance make the most of life and female nature for what it is, rather than what they thought it was. Think of the expression “when life gives you lemons.”

There are other clues that tell you where a guy is in his understanding. Some men remain in one phase a long time and not everyone will come to the acceptance stage. But the point that I want to illustrate by talking about the stages of grief, is that while we are all on the same forums, we are not at the same stage of understanding. Which is why a guy in the acceptance phase's post seems useless to a guy at the stage of denial. Or why someone might cringe at the anger phase guy like " bro you are still focusing on that?"

All posts in this regard are useful. And while you may have moved on from that stage others have not. Them posting is paying the price. Its teaching themselves the lesson, and by having others correct them it solidifies their understanding and steers them away from pointless meanderings.

Binging on Content vs Trying things out

Listen I like you all in that we all came here to solve a problem, but this forum is not, nor should it ever be a clubhouse. Get some information and go out and try it in real life. Real life is not this forum, or YouTube videos on pickup. It’s not Rollo's 4-hour monologues, Cappy shitting on boomers, Rich driving his Mclaren, or Ryan making Monty python jokes.
These are all men with their own lives, who’ve overcome adversity. Their content comes from their pain and experience not philosophizing.

Don’t be a doom-scroller just sitting there, consuming content endlessly wasting away. You may think you are growing, but you are just masturbating. Gathering information feels like growth but until you use it, all your doing is engaging in self-satisfaction that doesn’t get you laid. Go out and confirm for yourself whether the things said here are true or not. And if you find that its true via experience you will be the better for it. Redpill is the Theory, Game in real life is the application. You need both. As a former Coomer of the mental variety I can tell you that its overrated, there is such a thing as studying too much. You will learn far more from trying, failing, and trying again than you will from reading another book or forum. To me redpill content has helped me make sense of patterns and observations I’ve made in dating and relationships; but content has never been a replacement for those interactions.

A Cup of Coffee and the Cost of Wisdom

Some years ago, a young man at church asked me for advice on how to get a girlfriend, and how to practice game. Why did he ask me that? Because he saw me Teasing and bantering with a few girls. It was not the first time someone asked me for info, but this time I had a different response: “sure I can teach you, but you have to buy me coffee.” Now wait you may say, did you really make a young guy to buy you coffee? Could you not afford it? Now to these questions I will say that I can be a bit of a coffee snob and I drink nothing but the best coffee beans from the mountains of Columbia, roasted in the fires of Mt Doom and boiled in a sacred spring. Naturally I didn’t need anything from him. But I knew that the amount you pay for something, is the amount that you value it.

Was $7.99 really that much? For coffee? Absolutely! For Wisdom? No! but here’s the interesting bit; it was his first time paying for knowledge. And boy did he practice what he learned. Out of all the young men I’ve talked to none progressed as quickly and effectively as he. My time is worth more than a coffee. But if you feel like donating, please go to my only fans! If a 19-year-old church boy from the suburbs can learn game and apply it, so can you.

The thing is that if you are here you've already paid a price, in pain, rejection, disappointment, whatever it was the led you here was part of the price. Now go and pay some more!
