This behaviour is not unique to women. If the conditions are fucked up enough I'd wager most men would do some pretty base shit. Some straight guys suck dick in prison to be protected by a well connected prisoner.

Though what you're seeing here are women not taking agency in the decisions they made. That is: to fuck because it made life easier.

Victim mentality isn't unique to women though. On this very sub men whine about how women screwed them.

Wait. What's up with the graphic on that page?

Whoever made that infographic either sucks at statistics (and logic) or they're intentionally misrepresenting the data.

Let's do the math:

There are 20 rows of 50 'people icons' depicted on the graphic. That's a total of 1000 'people icons'.

Then the article says:

"More importantly, only 2 percent of reports come back to be false."

Ok. So why are there only 2 black colored icons at the bottom of the diagram???

2% of 1000 is 20.

There should be 20 black colored icons at the bottom of the diagram. So the designer is falsely depicting false accusations (even by their own data) by a factor of 10. Oops?

Incidentally, that makes the total number of "falsely convicted" exactly double to the number of "jailed". We can't have that now can we?

But more importantly: If only a tiny percentage of accusations ever go to trial... then how is it logically possible to know what percentage of accusations are false accusations anyway? Think about that for a second.

The only way that can possibly make sense is if the false-accusations data being used here is based on the cases that did go trial. But that would be ridiculous.

Clearly, it's just the accusations that actually have evidence that ever make it to trial. Which means that false accusations ("regret rape", "I was drunk", "I didn't want to but I did it anyway") would make up a vastly larger percentage of the set that didn't go to trial. Which means there are vastly more than just 2% false accusations -- or far more than the number of people jailed.

Whoever did the study is not only misrepresenting the depiction of the data in the graphic -- they're misrepresenting the data itself.

This is the kind of crap that's likely to get picked up by the media and re-quoted forever even though it's wrong.

you look at this and you have to wonder if any of these women have ever read "The boy who cried wolf".

It is mentality like this that kills their credibility ... and eventually kills the overall credibility to these types of claims. I used to be outraged, but by the time Cosby came around .... do you know how much they had to put on the table for me to take it seriously? Not because I am a dick, but because so many women are just outright liars. They (the ladies)have no one else except themselves(once again, the ladies) to blame either. And I used to think of women as my equal. Then feminism thought me that women are fucking kids and are not accountable for their actions and don't even know how consent works. They expect men to be the parents and mind read to know how they feel at every moment and act accordingly. Even babies have sense enough to cry when they are unhappy.

Females don't report a high percentage of rapes because they are comformists. Instead of actually wanting justice , they rather not be labeled as "the girl that got raped" which is completely logical understanding how female relationships work. When they actually cry rape it's either out of revenge and completely not true or she has had consensual sex and regretted it later on due to the shit feels after catching dick and being ignored or feeling betrayed. Only a small percentage of rapes are actually the "grab a girl in an alley" or "hold her down while she refuses".

I was at a party many years ago in a conservative, Bible-belt state. I was there with my wife and one of her single female friends, all of us being about 35 years old at the time. All the attendees were professional couples, doctors, lawyers, accountants, architects and scientists. As the night wore on one of the doctors present (circa 50 years old, overweight with a piggy face and pudgy hands), starting making advances to my wife's friend. I don't mean subtle advances, I mean trying to kiss her and unashamedly groping her while the two of them were sitting on a couch. The advances even extending to the doctor running his hands up her legs and under her skirt! The couch was in the middle of, and facing, a group of at least 15 other couples. The friend continually pushed the doctor away and resisted all his advances, in increasingly angry vocal terms. Eventually she got up and left.

Here's the point: the other couples who had been watching this encounter (which lasted about 10 minutes), pretended that nothing untoward had occurred. At the end of the party the doctor shamelessly said his goodbyes and was given friendly embraces by most of the females including those who had witnessed the incident. Even weeks and months later the attendees continued to treat the doctor as a 'solid citizen' and not a single one of his female patients chose to change physicians or ever mentioned the spectacle they had witnessed.

I can almost guarantee that all those women who embraced the doctor are now condemning Trump!! I call it 'The Bandwagon Effect'.

I guess it's high time for folks in affected areas to lobby to have a definition of rape that doesn't involve the flimsy concept of "consent". FYI, it's the case in France. It doesn't prevent convictions since rapes are about half of the trialed crimes.

"Any act of sexual penetration, of whatever nature, committed on the person of another by violence, constraint, threat or surprise is a rape."

Of course some feminists bitch because "the law contains no reference to the consent of the victim or its proof".

As long as the current definition of rape is based on consent, ie, whatever she wants, it's bound to be a law to abused.
