I've seen it first hand often. Both my ex's did that stupid shit, and countless twats in the military too. The second ex is the hilarious one. She went from being well off, respected in the community, with a capable, competent man on a mission, to a universally disliked entitled millenial who was homeschooled, gets fired from every job (even those desperate for warm bodies) and plays video games all day while her daddy pays the bills for both and tries to extort cash from me. She mistakenly thought I'd support him too while she didn't fuck me. Her boyfriend had been in trouble for stalking, it's so thirsty he was chasing around morbidly obese single moms trying to get a sniff. Without trying very hard I've fucked 25+ girls in the three years since I booted her out, most of them half my age, and built a new home, shop, and two muscle cars. She couldn't wait until 2015 when the first one was paid off she had to lay waste to her life and try to extort money from me in 2013.

Of course it's all my fault, they're the victims. That's what she tells everyone. I find it most amusing watching both my ex's fuck up their lives.

This is not an issue about whether you want to be like "Chad" or not. It is basic TRP knowledge that women will do anything to claim a high value man, which he is. He is not at fault, it is just a natural rule playing out.

This boils down to whether you want to be a high value man or not. And there is zero reason why you should not strive to be. People doing idiotic things to get your favor is their responsibility entirely.

A couple things are very unclear to me here:

I don't understand why you care about said crazy chick K enough to have generated this train of thought and post. Her deal is her deal, she's and adult and responsible for her own behavior You can't fix her crazy, only she can.
Of what, exactly, does your ethical conflict exist?

This post just seems like the ramblings of someone who has Oneitis for a crazy woman and is jealous of the guy to whom she's attracted. Rather than accept that his snowflake is a nut and distance himself accordingly, he's constructing a moral paradigm in which he can fantasize that he is somehow superior to the man with whom she is infatuated - on an "ethical" basis.

And to what end?

Maybe someday she'll realize how special you are and that you're more "ethical" than he is and she'll fall in love with you instead?

That's not going to work. Your "ethics" are not what is at play here and bending the world into a fantasy moral construction in which all Chads are unethical but you aren't isn't going to work either.

There is only what works, and what doesn't, for the end goal that you have in mind. So if you want, you can have an ethically sound relationship with a girl, or you can exploit her. The Dark Triad is only a tool if you're not naturally DT.
