To make a long story short, the wife and I have been trying to have a child for a few months. We've been married for a few years and we both agree that this is what we want. We're both 32. I have been RP for a few years now and my wife and I have a great relationship with me leading the ship.

The sex has been good and frequent since we've started trying, so no complaints there. The wife has been keeping track of her temperature and taking prenatal vitamins, etc. in order to ensure we're doing it at the right time. As it's been a few months with no success I opted to get a Trak male fertility system to check on my swimmers. The results of this test were such that I was on the line between low and moderate. I shared this information with the wife (in hindsight probably a poor mistake) and I'm now on a bunch of vitamins to help give them a boost.

I have a bunch of flex money that's due to expire shortly and I have decided I want to see a male fertility specialist to get a detailed analysis on my swimmers. My specific question is whether or not the wife needs to go to this appointment with me (she seems to want to) or whether or not anyone has been through something similar with this? When I take a look at things that could potentially your sperm count I have none of those issues (not obese, work out regularly, eat healthy, etc.)

Note: I am looking for some general RP tips on getting through this with my wife. We have no other issues in our relationship except for our apparent inability to conceive.
