Hello Everyone,

Married for 12 years (known her for 18) have a 4 year old son and a 4 month old daughter. We met at 19, both Christian's both virgins. I was the typical good guy that followed the script. Looking back I was fairly alpha when we met (MGTOW monk) but let my guard down to try and give marriage a shot. I became more beta over time. Last 5 years has resurrected the "strong independent woman" who wants to find herself. I tried being a better husband, did some counseling, chore play etc. None of which worked. Early 2018 I found the manosphere and started applying some of the principles and it worked. More sex, less fighting, but the feminist jezebel spirit was still strong within her.

Moved from midwest to the northeast for a better job right before the beerflu which coincidentally is closer to her mother. We have had some crazy arguments since the move. I have always told her if you don't like it...thereis the door. Most of the time she was bluffing but this week she pulled my son out of private school and along with my daughter to go visit her mom 3 hours away I told I am not cool with long distant parenting. I told her I would consider that an act of separation or divorce if she ever did that. Even though she only gone for a week I did talk to a lawyer about her basically kidnapping the kids.

I read Horns post of nuking the nuclear family. I no longer need her validation, She can no longer use sex as a weapon I no longer get emotional involved for the most part (I slip up on occasion) The only thing she can leverage is my kids. I am black and we all know about black children raised by single mothers. She spent most of her life adult life pursuing a PhD in Grad school and has never worked full time So I have been carrying 98% of the financial load for the duration of the marriage. She is currently unemployed

Should I activate the nuke? Taking the kids to her mom.signals she is truly done or is trying to have her cake and eat it too. Talking with the lawyers even if she gets primary custody and I have to pay child support and alimony I could still live comfortably. I would just have to get through the divorce and try to be in my son's life if possible.

Can this be salvaged through separation? Does separation make the divorce less expensive. I talk with the lawyer again on Friday.

Thoughts?
