Try doing. Pay the bill or not. What does it matter what she says? Either her phone is needed for running the family or it isn't. Take charge.

As a teaching point this isn't about the big strong man saving his little princess nor teaching her a lesson. In normal circumstances if there was a balanced relationship this would be one helping out the other and lending support, comfort. Keep the trains running.

Problem is hypergamy and solipillism lets women enjoy this idea that they are independent. They can live on thier own do thier own thing be free. Heh. we already know that women seek community and relationships. It is an absolute need for them. They can't help themselves. They will seek relationships whether they are successful or not.
