I want to leave my wife of 4 years.

We have a young child together.

Initially we were very much in love, and had a healthy sex life (multiple times every day).

Since she became pregnant last year the relationship soured. We have had a dead bedroom (sex 3 times in the last year). She disrespects me often and has a 'superior' attitude about everything.

The relationship is making me very unhappy, she clearly she resents me and no longer respects me.

I want to leave. I remember the days when I would hook up with girls and the freedom.

The problem is that 5 years ago I left everyone behind to move to Europe to be with my then-gf, now-wife.

If I divorce, that means the baby will have to either live with my wife and her family or with me.

Anyone been in a similar situation and know what to do?

I am 5 years younger than my wife and less experienced. I am also very insecure.
