Wasn't planning on my first post here to be asking for advice but running into an issue .

36 5'7 180lbs married 9 years, wife 40 overweight but she is working on herself at the gym also. 2 kids 4,9. Lifting 2-3 times a week and Krav Maga 2x week. Consistent. Started my journey about 4 years ago when I realized I didn't want to be a beta pussy anymore, read NMMNG and various PUA stuff and started working out.

Didn't know at the time about TRP. Swing shift work had destroyed my hormones, thyroid etc and mood and I had been gaining weight while wife was working full time plus working on masters degree.

Fast forward to present, changed departments at my employer, working straight day shifts and new position with more money. Doubled down on my health goals and working with Doctor about the other issues. Finally losing weight.

Just found MRP about a month ago and it finally connected all the dots, read side bar, just finished rational male and working on RM Prescriptions and going through posts here every day. Started implementing MRP as soon as I finished the side bar and had some good results as our relationship isn't terrible yet, still have 2xweek sex pretty regular but my wife is type A personality Alpha controls a lot of the decisions etc blah blah

QUESTION:

Anyway to my question, she has finished her degree last May and found full time work but her income does not pay enough for her to cover all the loans and credit card debt she racked up over the last 5 years (graduate degrees are fucking expensive). If we can get rid of the credit cards she can pay her other bills and will get predictable salary raises each year. I can take a loan on my 401k and possibly refinance our mortgage to take care of the credit cards but this leaves me holding the bag if our marriage was ever to end so I was considering a post nuptial agreement that left me the house and control over my 401k as these are my only large assets. Would this be reasonable or would it even matter if there was a divorce? Just trying to protect my only assets, I wasn't planning on paying for her school to begin with.

Side note: My concern, we have a good relationship, only red flag ever was right after she finished graduation she had a self described mental breakdown and said she was poly and wanted to open the relationship up. I had a BP breakdown and went through her phone web history and found a bunch of poly articles. When I confronted her she said she was just joking, having a break down etc but didn't want to break the relationship/kids up and there was no other guy blah blah
