Upon returning I announced that we wouldn't be having a family camping trip next year unless things improved - organization, behavior, discipline, etc. I fully intend to go camping by myself without my wife if things don't improve. Wife asks me if I am serious about this. I say I am and I am. Says we need therapy. I say she needs to start listening and getting her shit together. She is butt hurt. Starts with her whole "we both need to get our needs met" BS. Demands counseling.

I did a bit of counseling with her 5 years ago. Total waste of time. She talk, talk talks. Counselor does nothing. There is no take away, no resolution, no nothing. I walked out and packed my bags. Told her I wasn't doing that shit anymore. The relationship improved, but bad stuff still remains.

She withheld sex last night. I did an IOI in bed. I crawled in after her. I asked her "Who is ready to fuck ?" She protested, but let me play with her ass and masturbate for 10 minutes before storming off to sleep in the spare bedroom. I bid her goodnight. I'm guessing she masturbated.

She immediately goes on the warpath this morning. I give no fucks. I spent the day away from home with my buddies, getting fit. Gave her a 4 second kiss and squeezed her ass when I left. She is still on the warpath tonight.

All her friends are terrible relationship examples. Her father slept in the basement before he passed away. Total beta. Her mother is always nattering about something, is a terrible example for her. She has a friend who she blabs to constantly. Together they think they have men figured out. Neither has a clue. She has many single girl friends who can't attract a man at all.

I'm sick of the relationship in its present form. She doesn't appreciate or value anything I do. She is always disorganized, late for everything, constantly loses her phone, doesn't clean up in the kitchen, complains about doing house chores like laundry, etc.

I'm having trouble replying to her request for counseling. She wants it because it puts her back in power, gets another woman (counselor) on her side. She needs to accept that she isn't running this relationship, I am. All the women run their men in her circles and family. Our relationship is and is going to continue to be different than what she sees around her.

How would you handle this situation, other than the usual RP self improvement behaviors ?
