I've been around long enough now to start noticing how many accounts get deleted out. The only good reasons I can think to do it are if your account is discovered by your wife, or if you think you are at risk of getting doxxed. These risks should be low/nonexistant if you're careful with what you say and protect your login. I don't think it explains the volume I'm seeing.

The most frustrating part is the content loss. But it's also frustrating because the quality of advice here varies widely, and it would help to be able to see some posting history to help filter. What am I missing?
