I’m thinking of deleting my Instagram. The game is hard - nice girls got thousands of messages from blue pill guys, girls also looks on your insta success (followers and likes quantity which take a lot of time to gain and it useless) Better to meet them live and be like a mystery to them

I do not recommend playing this game. Just a few years ago, Facebook was king and everyone was sending event invites to everybody they wanted to hook up. Then Facebook died. Now Instagram took its place and everyone is posting photos that their cuckboy boyfriends took and sending DMs to get the D. Meanwhile, new platforms are up and coming which will replace Instagram.

You’re going to always be playing catch up is my point. Women excel at this because all they do between the ages of 16 - 36 is think about how can they maximize their validation. If you’re not a big techy who lives for the next big trend, it’s not worth trying to modify your frame to fit into theirs.

I've though about it as well, but not specifically to meet girls. I just wanted to share some of the stuff I make, be it poetry, photos or playing music. Maybe that could be a way to feel a little less lame than posting pointless selfies or pics of your food or pets would. No idea how it would translate to the goal of meeting girls, tho.

If you have a photography hobby you should definitely get an Instagram.

I make music and so I upload me playing piano or guitar or playing with samplers and synths or whatever. I'll also post videos related to music and let people know when I put up a new YouTube video (also related to music).

Oh btw I did end up hooking up with a girl cause of Instagram. We met in person at a party (which I had brought a different girl to) and we decided to follow each other. Then I "slid into her dms" as they say and kinda just talked to her about shit--a rule the guys here say to never do. I invited her to come out to a show with me and a friend and she did, then we ended up spending some time together that same night. I'm meeting up with her tomorrow too.

I also just remembered there was a second girl I met at that same party who I ended up hooking up with because we talked over Instagram too...

A cool thing about Instagram is if someone posts a story and you want to comment on it, you have to direct message them. So with both of these girls we would end up DMing each other and starting conversations that way. Like for instance one girl posted a story that was a Tom waits/Bukowski quote, so I messaged her about it saying how much I like those guys, then we talked about books, etc... You can easily snowball this into "hey I'd love to continue this conversation in person sometime" kinda thing.

But yeah if you mean just talking to random girls via insta it probably won't work so well.

Don't post everything at once.

You could start by adding new pics. Your first followers can be your friends IRL. Remember to follow back.

Then, as you've got several pics up, and a decent number of followers, you can post 2-3 pics from your past now and then. Call it "Throwback Thursday" or something. Maybe apply a particular filter to create a theme for old pics. That way you don't have to hide the fact that the pics are old, and you can mix it up with the new stuff.

You should also be strategic in that you shouldn't give away too much about yourself to maintain a degree of mystery. You want people to see a few things you've done, and places you've been, but not know much about you.

If you post a lot, then people will expect a lot of posts from you, and it will begin to feel like a chore. If you have a steady stream of maybe 2 posts a week, and don't waste too much time on it, then it can be a useful tool to advertise your value.

Honestly start off with buying about 500 followers, post your pics and you wont get many likes so, honestly you will have to purchase them at the start as well. Using follow for 4 follow apps or hashtags is a good way to grow as well,
