That means you're not using texts to meet girls.

They shouldn't even have the chance to ask you that question unless they don't see you often.

All my ex's have told me "you are terrible at texting" or "I know you don't like to use your phone", and that was the goal, if I turned texting into a conveyor belt for emotions, well then they have no reason to try to meet me.

I've tried the opposite too: full text conversations full of banter, it is completely useless and provides nothing of value.

She is trying to pull you into her frame,.and make you text like one of her girlfriends. Don't be a robot but dont fall into her frame. Try not to text to build attraction anyway, set up an opportunity to see each other in person, and make a move.
