Who even thinks about this shit. Of course women like a chiseled look. I intermittent fast + hit my calorie goals + protein everyday and feel like a beast. I'm not packing lots of muscle mass but I'm natty and only been lifting for a year and some change.

It's not that hard to accomplish and it will make everybody treat you with more respect, if you have muscle that is.

Staying lean is not hard but you have to be cognizant of it. In a first world country it won't just happen.

The short answer to your DIRECT question is yes. In your ability to actually get girls? No.

However, the physical aspect of your SMV will rise to the point where you'll get more IOIs or opportunities whereas before you might have relied on lifestyle, personality, confidence, etc etc.

That being said, you should be lifting regardless and almost everyone agrees that once you start noticing results, your confidence spikes and you're no longer doing it for stupid reasons like receiving validation from women, but rather for yourself.

If you have never been below 20%, you are looking for an excuse to be fat.

20% is roughly the max a guy should be. Not a minimum. Any % more isn’t helping you for strength or building muscle, it’s just fat that you’ll need to cut eventually why bother bulking up past this?

Get down to around 15% first. It will make a difference.

Then we can debate whether it’s worth going down more and by how much.

Most girls prefer lower bf %. Plus there are notable advantages to having lower bf such as higher test levels and possibly showing off your abs. However, if you don't initially have enough muscle under the fat it would be best to eat at a slight calorie deficit and slowly lose fat while building muscle.
