Just went and read some posts. All I see are men being afraid of women leaving them, lack of abundance mentality.

Still interesting how you can end up if you are only thinking about pussy. Read like 4 posts of guys saying they are now afraid of that women will leave since they ingrained that part in their heads so much they can’t interact with them anymore.

TRP's original goal was to discuss sexual strategies for men by understanding the nature of the man and the woman and the dynamics between the sexes. Not very different from what the early 2000's PUA community was doing as well. All reasonable so far... and those behaviors are very true and pretty much universal.

Then people started going through their anger phase - whatever the fuck that is (call me stupid by I've known that women are not the angels they want to appear since high school and still I've never stopped loving them all) - and started posting stuff that was a little bit more biased in favor of men and against women.

Then some people started pushing their political agendas. Especially with Trump becoming a president, a lot of people started thinking that if your values lean to the right, you're going to be as alpha as him. Dumbfucks did not understand that politics is about targeting a category of people and representing (or claiming to represent) their agenda and in that process they chased away those that did not conform to the alleged beliefs of the alpha president.

Then online alpha males started to pop up. I hope they are as tough in real life as online, but you could not ask a simple innocent question without being made fun of. It seemed like these subs gave some frustrated people the opportunity to be assholes under the pretense of tough love. I am really happy that people who just respond to any question with 'sidebar' get downvoted to hell lately.

Then the quarantine came around and a lot of people started using this sub as an autistic version of dating_advice/relationships.

And then you wonder why a lot of people are exredpilled?

If you look at the top posts in the ex-redpill sub, you'll see that all of the posts involve misunderstandings of what the TRP actually is. Here's some samples:

Since when did TRP place all the blame on women? Literally the first pieces of TRP advice are to LIFT, dress better, get hobbies, etc. All self improvement strategies.

The idea that men and women are intrinsically the same is patently false, however, the Red Pill philosophy that helps to promote the idea that we should only have women around for their sexual value is not only toxic and damaging to society, but to ourselves as well.

TRP does not say you can't have platonic female friends. TRP says that if you're sexually interested in a woman, don't try to be her platonic friend first.

I think the reason a lot of the guys on TRP seem so bitter and angry is precisely because they made a lot of changes to their life in pursuit of sex, and ultimately found that it didn't make them any happier.

This realization is in line with high level RP philosophy. Getting women and sex are a byproduct of being a high value man, not the goal.

Because it isn't black and white (or blue and red in this instance) but they've taken it as such.

Also a lot of these people were fans of the whole "red pill" idea, but didn't actually put any of it into practice. Similar to how so many Jordan Peterson fans rave about how great he is, but don't follow even the most basic advice/steps he tells these losers to take.

My personal viewpoint on this "phenomenon" - a lot of the ideas posited by more intelligent posters and articles on here, are worthwhile and have basis in fact. The reason this community and similar ones are (quite rightly) viewed as "toxic" or "dangerous" by many people, is because many of the people who follow it genuinely are.

Think of it as a religion (and I'm not mentioning any names) who's text in no way preach murder, terrorism, stoning women or homosexuals to death, mutilating the genitals of infants etc, but plenty of their followers do these things anyway. The ideas of that religion may well be sound and reasonable in practice (as reasonable as any religion can be) but some of their followers aren't.

They don’t like us because they don’t see what we see, can’t see what we see or refuse to see what we see. They use terms like bigotry, sexism, and misogamy to describe our observations. They can’t discuss ideology and behavior without attaching a negative connotation to it. Everything is about hate for them and it is because they focus on the new people in the sub. They take a guy in his anger phase and put him at the top as our unofficial representative. They fail to use the endorsed contributors and senior members as a looking glass to peer into the world of TRP.

They’re not interested in our ideologies. They just want to bring us down because it goes against what they learned. Ironically, their attitude reinforces TRP and shows us how people truly behave. You can’t reason with them. They don’t want to be reasoned with. You can’t understand them because they don’t understand themselves. They were formed and manipulated by society to believe their ideals. They couldn’t explain them to you if they tried.

They hate us because we understand the world for what it is. They hate that we can understand who we are. They hate that we have the power to change ourselves. They hate us because we’ve surrendered and realized that their is a mechanism for how we socialize and become sexual with the opposite sex. They can’t accept the truth so the only way they can deal with it is by silencing us and ridiculing us while they wander aimlessly in the dark.

Don’t pay them any attention. Don’t antagonize them. Let them marinate in their misery and continue working on yourself. You don’t owe them an explanation and you certainly don’t owe them any of your time. You don’t see successful people in TRP shitting on TBP. TRP is about improving yourself by taking ownership while TBP is about being a victim. That’s why TRP is full of post about being better than your previous self where TBP is about how TRP is wrong. That’s why they hate us. We take ownership, we make progress and we succeed.

They look at our angriest members and say, “Look, TRP is bad!” We look at our angriest members and tell them, “Your pain is temporary. It will go away when you take ownership of your life and realize that the world doesn’t owe you anything for any reason at all.” That’s why it’s so easy for me to be a part of this community. Nobody holds my hand and tells me it’s not my fault. That’s what I need if I’m going to become better.
