Broke up with my girlfriend who I was in "love" with (yeah fellas you can rip me up, i get it). Basically due to a slew of things, mostly the fact that fights turned into her shooting below the belt, not respecting my family, and trying to control my choices. On top of that, she had detrimental family problems that I knew would last a lifetime.

Gotta say though, I was into this girl and from being a pretty attractive dude I've been with many girls and never really cared before this one. Definitely developed oneitis mentality and moving past this in covid is definitely sobering as I didn't "want" to break up with her, just knew I should. And accepting that I'll never talk to her again is really drowning me out (i get it, blue pill, beta, yah).

Any words would help boys. In a city I'm pretty new to and struggling with being lonely and accepting this choice.
