This past Spring, I met this chick. Super chill, conservative values, great sex, cooks me stuff all the time, checks nearly all the boxes.

The last LTR I was with, I basically baited it for the longest time until she pushed the topic.

I know you're always supposed to let the woman push the commitment, but I was riding my intuition to ask her to be in a relationship after around 3.5 months. We hadn't seen anyone else and such but she didn't want to commit so I was like alright, as long as things stay the same way they are now, then I'm cool with it.

I viewed it as putting the cake in the oven and trying to take it out early, then I just put it back in.

Fast-forward 2-3 months and we are still in the same position. She says she's committed, but won't fully commit due to "fear" of being fucked over by the last ex was her most recent reasoning. I already know that's not the best sign haha.

Nonetheless, she still cooks for me, we have great sex and she's just overall awesome so the whole actions say we're committed, but not the words.

It's odd because I never thought I would be the one to push for a commitment, but this dynamic is dope and I see a lot of potential so I'm living my truth and letting that be known.

Anyways, I have friends asking me why we aren't dating, to which I don't think I can really give an honest answer to, and I have friends basically calling her my girlfriend, which I don't enjoy because it's sitting in the back of my head like wtf this doesn't make sense.

I'm to a point where I don't feel like pushing the topic anymore and I basically just left her place out of nowhere last night because I didn't want to deal with it and didn't want to sleep next to her.

Seeking advice on how to move forward from her, because intuitively I just want to let go. Seeing if there is a wiser path.

Many blessings.
