Back when I was younger and PUA was the shit, everyone used to talk about text game and how you should ping girls every once in a while with random openers just to keep them interested. Especially if you have a lot of time to bridge until you meet them. Oh, how I cringe thinking of those canned text openers I used... does anyone else remember “I met your twin”?

But I digress. Much time has passed since, and I have been slowly immersing myself in TRP. Now it seems like a recurring theme here is guys asking “what should I text this girl I’m seeing in X days?” and the collective response is “nothing you chump, only text her on day X to say you’ll be 10 minuets late”.

I guess the idea here is that you should and hopefully do have several other options, and a guy with options should not care if one of those fails. And even if you don’t have other options, there’s no shame in “fake it til you make it”, because hey, it often gets the job done.

Let me propose a hypothetical scenario: you meet an international lingerie model, absolute HB10.0. But alas, the date you have scheduled is 2 weeks from now. Are you seriously telling me you’re going to maintain radio silence for two weeks? I am assuming you do not have an abundance of international models.

If your genuine answer to this is “ABSOLUTELY”, then please, help me understand this mindset. How do you justify those actions (or lack of) to yourself? I am not judging, merely trying to understand your view.
