Secondly, it's clear to see that you're so nice and great. It's good to see that you realize that everyone else is at fault: the 'whores', the 'douchebag' guys, and the media. I couldn't help but pry a little bit deeper, so i went to your user page, and found out that you almost exclusively post in game related subreddits. I'm going to make some assumptions here, and you'll correct me if i'm wrong about any of this.

You find it easier to interact with others online, and you don't have a lot of experience socializing outside of those circles of people that share the same interests that you do. That being gamers, TCG enthusiasts, people who like the same kind of sci-fi/fantasy movies you do, the same animes, etc.

Most of your friends are male, either met online or via a convention or local game shop. Some, you met personally, friends from maybe your highschool years, where you first started with your hobbies, or maybe from college, where it's so easy to find a gathering of people that like the same shit you like. The few female friends you have are cut from the same cloth as you, and you probably even tried to start a relationship with them, or are girls that you find really attractive but never give you any attention, but you try to please them anyway and hope that they notice you, yet they never seem to, or if they did, it was always brief and didn't last.

Every girl, or nearly every girl you ever dated or made out with was introduced to you by a friend, was part of the same social circle, or happened to be so into you for some reason that she made the approach. You are shy, introspective, but friendly, nice, supportive and funny, and yet, those qualities never seem to be enough to get through the initial awkwardness of your first social interaction. You try to "just be yourself" around girls, but that only gets you to either be their "funny friend" or to get them to play along so they can extract favors from you.

You think that you're somehow better than the stupid meathead jocks that date all the attractive girls, the ones that make them cry. You think you're smarter, know a lot more interesting things than they do, have a lot more qualities, like being understanding, sensitive, caring. You can't see a woman cry without wanting to help her, and you're the friend that every girl wants to have, because you're always there.

You're angry, because the world doesn't work the way you thought it did. You're angry because, all the good things you thought that you had in yourself, it turns out, aren't the things that end up mattering the most.

Did i get most of it right? Ok? Good, now, for a REALITY CHECK.

Humans did NOT start out as ANYTHING more than animals that had a slightly larger and more functional brain than all the other beasts that roamed the earth. Complex relationships? Emotions? Cuddling? Sharing? Caring? This is all shit that developed WAY, WAY later in the human evolution cycle. What get your body ticking when you watch PORN? Is it how the women in porn display their intellectual prowess, their prudeness, their ability to fucking share and care and say how great of a guy you really are? FUCK NO. They're absolutely fucking HOT and your BODY and your BRAIN and, most importantly, your DICK knows that she has GOOD GENES and will make GOOD BABIES and it rewards you with a throbbing boner and the overwhelming desire to stick it in her until you cum. Guess what? WOMEN HAVE THAT PROGRAMMING TOO. Looks, it turns out, TURNS WOMEN ON. NO MATTER HOW GREAT OF A GUY YOU ARE, IF YOU DON'T LOOK GOOD, SHE WON'T HAVE ANY FUCKING DESIRE TO FUCK YOU.

Now that we've established that the ripped jock that's 6'+ and has a 8" dick has an evolutionary advantage over you in the fact that he automatically causes women to feel the tingles over him just by virtue of existing, let's talk about what ELSE matters in the way of sexual attraction. STATUS AND MONEY. Who the fuck you are, matters. The way you dress, the way you talk, the way you walk, who you hang out with, how popular you are, what car you drive, what you do for a living, all of that shit, MATTERS. If you have the looks, but little in the way of money and status, you might be good for a quickie in the bathroom of the nightclub or in the back of your 92' Chevy, but, no woman worth her salt will want anything to do with you past that initial dicking.

So, Chad Thundercock, our hypothetical jock, has the evolutionary advantage over you. He IS better than you, in a sense. Luckily, unless you have some sort of medical condition, you CAN look better than you currently do. And you can improve EVERYTHING else that i've said. Looks? WORK OUT. DRESS WELL. GROOM. Status? Hang out with cooler people, have a respectable position in society. Don't brag or talk about games/anime and shit, that will decrease your status. Money? Study, land a high paying and respectable job. Display it, use expensive clothing, cars, and tasteful jewelry and clothing.

ABANDON EVERYTHING YOU EVER THOUGHT WAS RIGHT IN THE WAY OF RELATIONSHIPS.

Change. That's the word here. You have to change YOURSELF. You don't change the world, you dont change other people. You. Change. Yourself.

You change how you look, how you talk, how you walk, how you dress, what you do for a living, and everything else, until you get to a point where you are happy with the way things are going with you. You don't get to be angry at the fucking world because you are unable to change to cope with it. You either change everything about who you are, or you just accept how things are and become happy with your current situation. THERE IS NO COMPROMISE TO BE MADE.

You want to kill yourself? Fine, go ahead, do it. You know there is no one to stop it from happening but yourself, right? But, before you do it, know that you are doing so as a fucking COP OUT. You're signing your letter of resignation, accepting your badge of shame, and getting the hell out of dodge because you couldn't accept that the whole world isn't your fucking personal dream that you thought that it should be.

You're like a fucking child throwing a tantrum because daddy didn't want to buy you the candy that you wanted, except you're doing it in the ultimate most stupid worthless fucking way possible, and i say that because i HAVE tried to kill myself and i fucking hate myself when i think about the kind of INANE reasons that i conjured in my head for doing so. And now i'm so glad that it didn't work and i'm doing everything in my power to make my life better, that i couldn't even begin to describe it.

But if you don't want to give up, then think about what i've said and you'll find out that i'm not badgering you, pestering you, or really want you to kill yourself, but just the opposite. I want you to see the errors of your way, and to do something, ANYTHING to turn your life around.

Maybe TRP is for you. Maybe it isn't. The only real way you're going to find out is if you read the sidebar material, apply it to your life, BECOME TRP, and then reevaluate. Is it better? Is it worth? And remember. Treat TRP as a salad bar, take what you want and leave the rest. And stay strong.

And, i would urge you to STOP hating on women. NOTHING GOOD comes out of hating the very object of your desire. If you're going to change yourself to make yourself more successful with women, learn to love all of them for their flaws. Be aware of them, circumvent them, and even use them for your advantage, and then, learn to tak advantage of the GOOD things women have to offer. Trust me, it'll be a LOT easier to change yourself if you're doing it for something you love, rather than something you hate but still need. This sub already has a lot of women hating, and i fail to see the fucking point of it. Reality is reality, you learn to accept it, you deal with it.

Being a nice guy isn't incongruous with not automatically assuming women- as half the human race- are leaning towards the good side of morality by default. One of the core parts of TRP- what a lot of critics don't seem to get- is that it presumes that women don't automatically have your best interests at heart; they're not your mom, instead they're interested in their own self benefit. Where a good relationship can be built with the opposite sex tends to fall where you're more interested in the person, rather than the servicing of their ego (and visa versa). That, along with some other stuff about self improvement, becoming well read, assuming the world treats you as something it can exploit to personal benefit if you'll let it, and some other misogynistic, overt women hating stuff.

Incidentally, most people who claim to be, "nice" guys are actually- unawares or otherwise- cowards. It isn't that they're nice, its that they're so unwilling to invest themselves in anything that they prefer to be the proverbial rolling stone.

That's actually juggalo logic. The world sucks, people are shit, so they join right in with the caricature they've created of the world around them. Any time your question is coached in the idea that you should get to do something because a group of people is X, or that group Y is all engaging in it anyways, always step back. Women aren't fucked up. At the bare minimum much in the same way that the US had to concede that the Soviet Union was, if nothing else, acting in it's own self interest rather than some intellectually bereft justification that wouldn't pass for a Saturday morning cartoon villain, you have to concede that at the bare minimum women aren't evil, let alone "fucked up." Sure, plenty of people are fucked up- men, women, anything in between. You cannot hold a community responsible for the actions of the individual. This is not to say that you must therefor be the victim, but rather that instead of trying to drain the entire ocean of water, that it'd be wiser to adjust your sails when inclement weather hits.

It'd be rather lazy to just kill yourself. Spend ten minutes on the internet and you can find some unremarkable blobs and absolute refuse of humanity plodding along and even they have the capacity to appreciate that the chance that things can get better- even while they're doing absolutely nothing to attain that, effectively rejecting the notion of agency in it- outweighs the temporary release that suicide presents. If you kill yourself you will be forever that sad sack of shit who had even less hope in life then the guy who gets excited over finding a twinky- mercifully still in it's wrapper- that had been lodged in between his rolls of fat.

AWALT isn't an assertion that women are all identical in behavior, its a request to be proven wrong. Women who can reject the sway of society, and the endless succession of bridges it wants to sell them are rare- as rare as a man of quality- and appropriately described by some as, "unicorns." I don't know what understanding of love you've built up over the years but if it was coached in garbage Hollywood and company cooked up, I'd throw it out. They didn't want to inform and enlighten you, they wanted to sell you a movie, a book, a TV show. While there's something to be said about the Stern Effect, the reality remains that you can still attract flies with honey. They sold you what you wanted to hear. They told you what you wanted to be told.

Is love as a concept dead? No. It's just something you need to recognize as fickle, rare, and misunderstood. The issue with modern society isn't that they killed love its that they found such profound ways of rendering it abstract that most folks simply do not understand it. A similar comparison would be people who were raised in abusive households who make it to adulthood yet are poorly socialized to the extent that they often cannot express themselves except by abuse. Society has so poorly conditioned the modern adult to understanding what's important in life- friends, family and the people you actually love- that we often don't recognize it when it's dangled in front of our faces, and when pressed to express it ourselves we are found wanting.

And before you say, "ah, but surely I am different!" well, congratulations, now look at everyone else in the room and ask yourself if you can say the same about them.

Incidentally, you're not a martyr. You're just coming to terms with the fact that the world doesn't owe you anything, and after having been raised and conditioned to believe that it actually does, that you're special and unique, that by wanting you will get, and you've learned that none of the above is actually true. You need to stop asking what's wrong with the world and everyone around you and start asking what you can do to rise above it all. Fat adults might be able to float on the river of society but it takes a strong adult to actually cross it. You don't strike me as the type to be strong- physically, intellectually or otherwise.

Just so you know men and women love each other differently. Grasp that concept now and save yourself some grief. Trying to equate them is as futile an exercise as feminism. Love is a fabricated notion, LOVE ISN`T REAL. It was made popular and prominent in an age of romanticism.

The problem is that you bought into an ideal that has no hold on the true nature of human beings. Were animals, dont ever forget that.

I understand how you think you`re betraying yourself by changing your ways and beliefs, I know exactly what thats like because I went through it.

I now accept that love isn`t real, its simply an ideal, and prefer to opt for open relationships and taking it as it comes.

Youre not betraying yourself by changing, youre starting to see things for what they really are.

You don't have to betray your ideals, but you might question them and change them if you deem it adequate. I would start by thinking why you have the ideals you have and who benefits from them.

Also thinking that women are how they are just because of modern media, otherwise they would be your idealized angels, is extremely naive.

Read the side bar. No more mister nice guy is a good Starr. I though I was too mature for that book but read it because it was recommended. I'm happy I did. Something's I had figure out in my own but it opened my eyes on others, and it humbled me. I think the book offers a good and paleteable base onto which start change and build the rest of the red pill advice.
