I had a lot of PTSD after leaving my BPD wife. I feel like I crawled out of the depths of hell. I got a motorcycle. It made me feel alive and I love giving cute girls a ride on it.

I would also say gaming chicks became a hobby. Also, I've always played guitar, but it died down when I was married. I reaquired lots of great guitar gear to make my own music.

Read, and read some more. Become educated about the world. Read philosophy and political philosophy in particular. Too many RP guys are alphas in the gym and betas in life. Hamsters stuck in the wheel, unaware of the systems controlling their lives.

Edit: church volunteering work is great. Great way to meet traditional / conservative people with their priorities straight. Also great way to meet more serious LTR type of women, with proper values. You can even set up a reading club at church, study all the classics in a lay and welcoming setting.

Most of all, as others say, you should do what calls to you.

But if you like the idea of rock climbing already, then I'll definitely put in a vote for it. Especially if there's a bouldering gym available (no ropes and low top out). Here are the benefits:

•You instantly get to see how good her body is and especially how good her ass is.

•It's socially acceptable to stare at people for an extended period of time (check her out) while you watch them climb to "get beta" for the route yourself.

•If it's a bouldering gym, you can go by yourself (you need a spotting buddy at a regular roped climbing gym), or mix and match with friend groups and strangers. Everybody is there to have fun, and there's a good sense of community, so it's easy to start conversations.

•If it's a bouldering gym, it's incredibly easy to find a hot chick, take turns with her on the route she's on, initiate conversation about climbing strategy, and then transition to playful conversation if she's receptive.

•Climber girls by definition are passionate about something that's a real activity, rather than being a basic bitch who spends all her time with passive media entertainment, so they're more likely to have real personalities.

•Climber girls tend to be adventuresome and have higher fear thresholds than most girls. Take them camping, take them mountain biking, take them cliff diving, or whatever else you can think of. If she's an experienced climber, she might surprise you and be just as bold as you are.

You gotta make sure your physique is on point though, because you'll be competing against more athletic guys than average, and if you're a skinny-fat weekend warrior, a lot of the girls might be stronger than you.
