I know that TRP preaches that height is "not that important".

I've come around on that. I think that short guys have a legit beef in that women select for height without mercy. And I say that as a guy who is 6'2". Is it "fair"? Nope, but neither is it "fair" that most women I want to bang don't dig guys who look like they are made up out of spare dinosaur parts (i.e. me).

I would also like to know if chicks dig a manly looking man when he is just average in height. Or if they find it slightly weird, like a hot girl who is 6'0".

To a woman with average height, you are going to seem tall, because you are tall, or at least taller than average. I wouldn't worry about it. Thank God (or nature or aliens or your parents) that you are not 5'4" as a dude.

And don't worry about the 6' babe; you can leave those to your Uncle Vasya.

story time: i'm 5'10" one time i was talking to a couple of girls in a bar. (fwiw they were average girl height, about 5'4" ish) and at some point we started talking about height and how there were so many short dudes in this particular bard and shit like that and they both agreed that they liked tall guys. i kept probing them for details and one said that she would only date guys who are at least 6'0" tall, no exceptions. the other one said that she didn't have a specific cutoff, but yeah she would only date tall guys and that anything less than 6'0" was too short.

i started doing some mock sad bullshit like oh well that's a shame i guess maybe i should talk to some other girls or whatever trying to tease them for being shallow, but these girls didnt get it. finally i realized that they thought i was tall. they were saying all that stuff about height and only liking tall guys because they were hitting on me. i asked them how tall they thought I was and they both said they didnt know but guessed between 6'0 and 6'4" lol. they didn't believe me when i told them that i was under their height cutoff rule. eventually i had to pull out my driver's license to prove it.

they both stood there for a minute while the hamster wheels in their heads were furiously spinning until finally the one who had said she had a solid rule that she would never date a guy shorter than 6'0" said, ".....ok i would date a guy as long as he is at least 5'10" "

if you're masculine most chicks won't care and at 5'11" and masculine even the height hoes will probably think you're taller than the magic number

5 11 puts you taller than 95 percent of girls with heels on. Wear boots if you feel like getting an extra inch.

I'm 6'0 and we would look pretty much the same height if I'm wearing low shoes.

The best height is the one you have. 5'11 is a great height.

Mostly because you can't change it. Stand up straight and wear snazzy shoes and you'll look taller.

There are so many people here with height complexes. half the posts here seem to be guys looking for validation of their insecurities. Height seems to be chief among them.

Anyway...

I'm asian, 5'10" with shoes on. I spent last night on my couch with a girl who is 6'0". One of my best friends is Vietnamese and about 5'6" he's been with a girl who's 6'1" (and one of the most attractive and intelligent white girls I've ever met) for as long as I can remember. You may be insecure about your height, but be thankful you don't have to deal with the 'you're asian, so you must have a small dick.' bullshit.

There is indeed an advantage in being physically imposing. But you can achieve this without height.
