Yeah i never do dinner dates, they are worthless. Cook something together at each other homes or go take a drink at a bar. Your finances say thanks and importantly you have the chance to fuck her at the first date.

There's nothing sexy about daytime or lunch. Just say you're busy. If she won't meet you at night then she would just waste your time anyway.

Schedule lunch dates but cancel last minute. Just say work is too busy. Sets a precedent that you put everything before her, and she will pursue you in hopes of being #1

Haven’t experienced this but simple solution: hard next and move on. If your game was fire she wouldn’t be focused on the guy she’s fucking. If I were you I wouldn’t go to the lunch date you agreed for.

Usually dates midday are more like 'interview date'. Often after lunch there are also other things to do so You end up not closing date at all. Evening have much better mood for dating - drinks at bar, wine at home etc so You both can relax since there is nothing else that has to be done today.

The only time I do dinner dates is when I am trying out a new place, so even if the date doesn’t pan out, we’ll I got to try out some new food. That’s a win for me.

I have only done 1 lunch date, she wasn’t my type in person, so I just moved on. I try to do drinks, then maybe a bite to eat but that’s cause I enjoy food. If my goal was to only have sex, I would skip the food.

when it was warm (pre covid when i was single) I agreed to a few lunch date counters, if she was interesting/attractive enough, but on my terms: I would choose to meet at a local waterpark that had a bar. so:

less clothing
makeup gets washed off, see her real face
some drinks

did this with at least 3 or 4 different women/dates, the spot happened to be < 2 miles back to my place so even day closed. kino, cocktails, outdoor, sun vibe is different than "chicken Caesar salad with diet coke" in a stuffy restaurant.

TLDR: if that's her counter (lunch) make it something that still suits you, or decline.

You’re looking at it backwards. A counter offer for lunch is a good sign - way better than not proposing anything.

The goal of texting is to get her out at a time you can do - that’s it. Once she’s out it’s much easier to get things moving - assuming she becomes attracted to you and is having a good time.

My routine was: Go to a cafe near my place, build attraction, say let’s go, walk to my place, spend 20 minutes building comfort, close. Only major difference to night dates is there’s no alcohol involved (shouldn’t rely on that anyway).

Lunch or not find out how much time you have to work with early on (don’t take her to your place if you don’t have time to close), and make her contribute to the bill.

If she’s making fake excuses to leave it’s because she’s not attracted/not having fun. In that case that’s a whole other problem.
