Want to trade notes based on my experience. Girls that insist on meeting at lunch are basically always an uphill battle right?

At worst we just hang for like 2 hours then she ends up fucking the dude she agreed to meet at night and we never meet again. At best my game is fire but she still has to meet "her friend" after and she's eager to meet again but since I agreed to a gay ass lunch date she pegs me as a provider/relationship/not fun material and wants to string me along as long as she can while she's fucking the other guy still.

Anyone else have different experiences? Is there a way to get around this?

So far I've just settled on not doing lunch dates unless she's showing ridiculously high interest.

EDIT: the alternative isn't dinner dates. I'm talking when you invite her to literally anything and she counteroffers with "how about lunch on blah blah blah"
