I was needy and this feeling shows up sometimes - but - I learned that neediness comes from the situation that I am not satisfied with myself or focus on wrong things in life.

To be self-satisfied and focus on people/things which do not make you needy could be the key?

needy person : i'm a dog who wants to approach someone expecting to get kicked , but if i'm lucky they start cuddling me instead of kicking my ass
non needy : i think this girl deserves to talk to me , i give her the chance of having a conversation with me , if she proves me she deserves more we exchange numbers and the more interest she show , the more close she can get to my dick!
and yeah , i approach her cause they don't approach , but it's the one and only time that i give without getting first

it's really that simple , the rules are easy to understand
~ No giving without getting
~ No dealing with low and medium interest chicks , there is 3 billion girls that i haven't approach yet , i only keep high interest ones
~ i'll never ever please you or make you feel you can easily have me
~ you should earn things from me, i won't give them for free
~ if you do anything wrong , i'll talk to other girls .
~ you can never emotionally affect me , i don't get sad , i don't get angry , i just leave when you do wrong things

As other people have mentioned is abundance but also you don’t feel good being you. So neediness comes from a place where you’re not comfortable with being abandoned and that’s ok, we all experience it. But if you base your personality trying people not to dislike you, you’re gonna have a bad time. What to do? These are simple yet really difficult steps but they can help you.

Understand Authenticity: Being authentic is being really brave, having courage to show who you really are, the more authentic you are, the more you’re gonna want to be with yourself.
You can make mistakes while learning and life is about learning: Defects can become virtues and Limitations help us mark the way. You will understand after you put your mind to it.
You don’t owe anyone anything: Flow, enjoy life. When you enjoy life you will take the pressure off yourself to being liked because all what matters is if you are enjoying your life.

If you are needy, you are putting too much emphasis into the interaction and therefore putting her SMV above yours (Putting her on a pedestal). You also may not be doing much in your life and therefore putting women as your number 1 priority.

You need to either: 1. Focus more on your purpose. 2. Spin more plates so you have multiple sources to talk to. (This will naturally decrease neediness due to talking to so many) 3. Get a hobby (not video games).

This helped my game.

Just my two cents.

I used to be very needy because my perception of self worth came from others, so I would constantly need other people's validation to gauge my worth. Eg with women after sex I would always try to check if they enjoyed it to know if I'm a worthy guy or not.

I changed when I realised that I'm the only one who knows my worth, and don't need people to tell me.

At first it was hard, cause I realized I was worthless (I had to shed my ego to realize this). But as soon as you start working on yourself (gym, getting your shit in order, money etc) you get this amazing feeling of ownership and achievement, and you start feeling validation coming from within. The "I did that shit" Feeling you have to yourself is great.

I am working on being the best version of myself, so what other people think of me don't really matter. Now after I fuck women, I just enjoy the moment, if she doesn't like it, well she can go find another dude, I'm working on being the best version of myself, if she doesn't like that, no worries.
