I know people can "fake" who they are in the early stages of dating.

If this is what you're seeing right off the bat, do you think it's going to magically get better if you get to know her for longer?

To me this is kind of a funny story. I had exactly one girlfriend / plate with BPD. She was hot AF and not exactly crazy but would fly into a rage over nothing. She would always hang out with me and one of my best friends. She would have sex with me on the regular for a couple of weeks and then get mad about nothing and storm off. Usually she would come back in an hour or a couple of days. Whatever. Didn't really bother me all that much.

Anyway, one time after she stormed off for a few days my friend decided to set her up with one of his (beta) friends. The friend fell in love with the girl and beta'd out and after a few weeks of dating she dumped him and he started threatening to kill himself and quit his job to move to where she lived and basically fucked up his whole life.

So she came back to fuck me on the regular, which was good, and then she stormed off again over nothing, and my "friend" decided once again to set her up with one of his other friends(!)

And then this other friend fell in love with her after about 2 weeks and threatened to kill himself and quit his job and became homeless for about a year after she dumped him.

You have to realize that you're playing with fire, but if you truly DNGAF and you can protect yourself, enjoy it while it lasts. It's a dangerous game, not for the faint of heart. I would recommend that you try not to fall in love with this girl with the red flags.
