they feel important as hell when a guy risks shit for them to speak to them in public. they might not even like you.. they might just like the idea of getting picked up by a random alpha stranger and fucking him.. it has a sense of pure raw naughty sex when it happens like that. all her internal warnings are buzzing but she continues.. and she doesn't know why.. but it's because you aren't a bitch who isn't afraid to lead a woman.

so go out there. talk to people. anyone. flirt. make mistakes. laugh about it afterwards. life is a game, the only person who is paying any real attention to anything you do is yourself.

approaching a girl in almost any situation isn't creepy or awkward...you're making it awkward. It's those old social norms, and fears, that doing something like that is somehow wrong. It isn't.

If you're cool, calm, collected, outcome independent, it'll come off fine.

Nothing wrong with an easy 'Hey, I was just doing my shopping, and I like your style, I had to say hi'

Stop thinking about it as an “approach.”

Start thinking about it as you just want to be friendly to EVERYONE. Strike up a conversation with anyone you come in contact with. A quick location-relevant compliment or comment gives you a chance to practice interacting with no pressure to “close.” Go for trying to get a chuckle out of people, or a smile.

Don’t be fucking awkward about it.

As an addendum: It’s NOT a you verses them thing. Hell, every woman WANTS to be seduced by someone clever and charming. If you work on the clever and charming thing daily (and LIFT), then when the time comes, she’ll let you know if it’s working.

There are 4 places where you don't hit on women: gym, libraries, their/your workplace, and family reunions. I've gotten numbers from grocery store and bookstore chicks that I've opened on. It's not creepy unless you make it creepy.

BTW if you can't make friends, how do you expect to get a girlfriend? Find a hobby and join it's club. You like lifting? Take a class for cardio, and hit on the chicks after the class.

What kind of hobbies or interests do you have? I'm sure there are groups or clubs where people get together and share their experiences. If you like to dance then maybe take some dance lessons. If you like the outdoors find the local rock climbing club or hiking club. Painting, swimming, gym, it doesn't matter. You will have the added bonus of meeting someone who shares your interests as well. Good luck.

Edit; It will also give you a less cliche place to take someone than the movies or dinner. You can take them to your pottery club to use the wheel and kiln for instance. If they've never done pottery all the better. You can teach them. Quality one on one time and they'll have a memento of your time spent together. Pottery only being an example. Idea will translate to any activity and make you seem like a much more interesting person than Joe Chad from the factory down the road.

What do you like to do u/Terra501? Hobbies, interests, sports? A great way to people in general is through team sports; mixed or otherwise. If your new town is big enough then there should be some social sports teams that play just for the fun of it. If there isn't then maybe the town was waiting for someone like you to start one up.

That's what I did when I wanted to get into obstacle racing and my social circles blew up exponentially.
